Game changer!
Oh wow this bread is so good. I’d tried a few batches of 90 second microwave mug bread but revolting each time. Saw the Heylo range and though it’s expensive I thought I’d try it. It arrived yesterday and I tried a single slice of toast. For ‘me’ it’s pretty much like regular white bread!! Soft, toasts nicely, tastes delicious toasted. Today I made a cheese and ham toastie. I don’t count the butter, Gouda cheese and ham as they’re all virtually no carb. So just 2 net grams of carbs for this toastie (I allow myself 20g net carbs for my keto metrics)? Unbelievable. Almost too good to be true. The only catch I can see is that it’s NOT GLUTEN FREE. So if you’re gluten intolerant or coeliac it’s no good for you. I do feel a little ‘bloated’ relatively since I ate the toastie about half an hour ago but I haven’t had any gluten intolerant my diet for a couple of months. I’ll freeze this bread and have toasties etc sparingly. If it means I can have a toastie or a bacon sarnie rather than ordering a dirty McDonalds etc it’s an absolute win. I’m flying tomorrow - extremely early flight - so I’m going to make up some cheese, ham, mustard mayo sandwiches for the flight so I don’t have to resort to the carby rubbish served up by the airline. As you can probably tell, I’m a big fan and absolutely recommend this bread (I’ve only tried the white)

Very nice!
I have been on a keto diet for a year, and lost shed loads of weight. However, I have really missed bread and bought several brown keto loaves, which were nice, but I prefer this white loaf. The only thing that I don't like is the ludicrous price.Update: I have now discovered how to make reasonable keto bread in a bread maker for a fraction of the price. Keto Bread Maker RecipeIngredients (for a standard loaf):Vital Wheat Gluten Flour: 1 1/4 cups (150g)Almond Flour: 1 cup (100g)Coconut Flour: 2 tbsp (15g)Flaxseed Meal: 1/4 cup (25g) (optional, adds structure and fiber)Instant Yeast: 2 tspWarm Water: 1 cup (240ml), about 110°F (43°C)Olive Oil: 2 tbspEggs: 2 largeSweetener: 1 tsp (like erythritol, optional for flavor balance)Salt: 1 tspXanthan Gum: 1 tsp (for better structure)Instructions:Activate the Yeast:In a small bowl, mix the warm water, yeast, and sweetener. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.Combine Dry Ingredients:In a large mixing bowl, combine vital wheat gluten flour, almond flour, coconut flour, flaxseed meal (if using), xanthan gum, and salt. Mix well.Prepare the Wet Ingredients:Beat the eggs lightly and mix with olive oil.Load the Bread Maker:Add the wet ingredients (eggs and oil) to the bread maker pan first.Pour in the yeast mixture.Add the dry ingredients on top.Select the Bread Maker Setting:Choose the basic or white bread cycle on your bread maker. If there's a setting for a low-carb or gluten-free loaf, you can use that too.Set the crust color preference (light or medium works best).Let It Rise:Vital wheat gluten gives it elasticity, so the dough should rise well. If your bread maker allows, check during the first kneading stage to ensure the dough is forming a ball. If it’s too dry, add a tablespoon of water. If too wet, sprinkle in a little almond flour.Cool Before Slicing:Once done, remove the loaf and let it cool completely on a wire rack before slicing. This prevents crumbling.

Not worth money
Tastes like cardboard

For the more serious low carb eater
I like the look of this bread and it is nice and soft. However, it is very different to regular bread. It has a different texture, taste and smell. I think if you toast it and disguise it under beans then it is not too bad.I guess I am just hoping for too much really.

Keto chefs hand crafted low carb bread
Absolutely brilliant bread. Love the texture and the taste, shame it's not a larger slice tee-hee,😄. Makes a great sandwich and toasts very well. Really enjoy the low carbohydrate.

Heylo Low Carb Bread
Nicer than expected, most low carb breads I've tried always have a stale texture but this bread is soft and a good size like a normal sized small sliced loaf, ideal for sandwiches but found that toasted it has a chewy texture, their seeded loaf is a better bread for toasting. I will definitely be buying more even though it's expensive because it's ideal to help with your bread cravings whilst on the keto, and the amount of money I've wasted trying to make my own loaves it's a cost I'm willing to take.

Incredibly overpriced
Having eaten low carb for the last 6 months I find myself really missing toast! I have tried a couple of breads and whilst I appreciate they are going to be different I am still looking for the one that will hit the spot. This bread tastes ok overall. It’s a bit doughy and sweet but in the absence of white bread it’s absolutely ok.The only thing that would stop me buying it again is the ridiculously high price. It is absolutely not value for money and I struggle to understand the why.I just can’t justify this cost for a product that it is just ok.
