I purchased two umbrellas (green and orange) to store in my vehicle on the driver and passenger sides for weather emergencies. Although I have yet to test them for rain, they seem quite adequate and I am favorably impressed by the hard shell zippered cases they are stored in. I had two other umbrellas (different company) that came in fabric covers but learned that after those umbrellas were opened and used, well, forget about those fabric covers those umbrellas were not going back inside! These zippered covers do accommodate these umbrellas though, which I completely appreciate.

I bought this for the sun specifically. Good travel size for one person. I don’t have any issues opening or closing the umbrella, which I originally worried about based on other reviews. But with that being said, it does take a tiny bit more of effort than you would retracting other umbrellas. I would not recommend this for children or the disabled unless they have help available.The travel case is more sturdy than I expected for the price. Upon opening the package for the first time there was a formaldehyde smell, but it seemed to have dissipated within a minute of bringing the umbrella outside.I would recommend this if you’re just looking for a quick, cheap UPF/UV umbrella to keep yourself out of the sun.

got a few of these for a trip and they are SMALL. but surprisingly they open up wide and provide sufficient coverage for sun or rain. was able to tuck them into luggage, purses, totes, and even pockets with no trouble. i would also recommend them for kids' backpacks for school because they are light and take up little space, so they are always ready if the weather changes.

This is the 2nd one of these great little umbrellas I’ve ordered. Left one at my son’s house out of state, so said “keep it”, then ordered another for me. They are small & lightweight, but for travel “less is more!”. Love the huge number of color options!

I love the color of this umbrella. It’s quite small and can be used only by one person at a time. Perfect for short ladies😉 and kids. It comes with a case and it’ll easily fit in our handbags. It’s not very sturdy. You get what you pay for.

I returned because I thought it was a little bit bigger. For sun it's awesome but for rain and wind it's not good.
