The watch is beautiful and works perfectly. Keep in mind that this is a mechanical, self-winding watch. It must be manually wound for its first use, and will probably need daily winding for all people who are not exceptionally active. Tapping on a keyboard and casual walking won't keep the watch wound. For me the main advantage of an 'automatic' mechanical watch is that it can't be over-wound, which ruins the watch.If you're looking for skeleton watch that shows the clockwork's movement, and don't mind winding the watch daily then you'll love this watch. However, if you just want a watch that runs for years without winding then opt for a quartz movement; there are nice wooden watches that will accommodate your needs.

Not durable, I've ordered twice and the links in it break very easily. Gorgeous watch though.

With the self-winding mechanism, this watch intermittently stops working.Fails to perform THE ONE FUNCTION of a watch.

I originally gave this watch 4 stars because it's attractive and unique. Then it stopped working. Upon reading other reviews I see this problem isn't uncommon. My new rating is ZERO!

Very nice. Working in the box. At least it works at first sight. Packaging was OK. Came in a nice box with minor protection to the watch and box itself. Great gift this will be. Much more attractive in person than a similar wooden watch I paid 120 for.

Looks nice enough, but doesn't keep time. Gave it a good long wind and a shake and all the things you're meant to do with this kind of watch and then wore it for a couple of days with plenty of movement, but no matter what I did it's still slow by a couple of minutes per hour, which over the course of a day makes it pretty useless as an actual watch unfortunately!
