BVTech PoE IP 4MP Turret IP Camera/2.8MM/POE/12VDC/ IP67/MATRIX IR/White/Built-in Mic/WDR Compatible with Hikvision NVR

Setup on this camera was easy on my hybrid DVR/NVR. The image is a little warped but does the job to see 180 degrees. Very clear day and night with other supplemental lighting such as street and business lights. Movement in low light is really good although I set exposure shutter up a little because I have supplemental lighting. Very similar to the Colorvu. The image sensor is high quality. Not much blur in low light but then again depends on ambient and settings. I set the on board white lights to come on with motion so that helps a lot in conjunction with a couple high powered LED down lights that are motion activated. The only problem I’m having is it won’t record audio. I can hear it on live stream or any other mode of connecting. I’ve tried to change the settings exactly like another Hikvision Colorvu on my system. That camera works great. Still no solution. I’ve spoken with tech support and they said they would send updated firmware. I still haven’t got anything. I’m not sure who I was speaking with but they almost wouldn’t help when they found out I purchased on Amazon. This seems to be a rebranded Hikvision but may have compatibility issues with my NVR. No clue how to fix. I’ll also note that when motion detection is set to favor the center of the image, the left and right edging still trigger motion recording. This mostly happens after dusk but there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason. Overall, this is a great camera to see both directions in my alley behind the house. Footage beyond 30-40ft each way is typical for a wide angle but becomes more of an activity monitor at that point.
