Amazing Little Power Supply
I used this to power my Line 6 HX Stomp and a couple of other pedals and it powers everything just fine. Love this thing.

Claims "Every channel output is isolated and short-circuit protected" - that is 100% untrue
Caline makes a lot of great, inexpensive ***isolated*** power supplies. This is not one of them. The description for this product claims "Every channel output is isolated and short-circuit protected". That is 100% not true. The tips of all 6 outputs are tied directly together - I measured less than 0.1 Ohms between them. The rings are almost as bad - there is one 9V regulator (the voltage source) in the box, and they are all tied to it through small resistors. I measured between 6.3 and 11.5 ohms between all the outputs. On a true isolated supply, like my Caline CP-205, you should read 10 MOhms (10,000,000 Ohms) or greater (my meter can only measure up to 40MOhms, so the actual resistance is higher than that). Again, this product reads between 0 Ohms and 11.6 Ohms. Now this product *will* typically function as a 6-out power supply, but isolation-wise, it's no different than a daisy-chain power cable with 6 plugs. So it won't solve any noise or ground-loop issues that an isolated power supply would solve. However if one of your pedals needs the opposite polarity (like my DOD FX-40B equalizer) it won't work - the 9V will be shorted to ground and non of your devices will work. It's not a problem for the CP-205, but it's impossible with the CP-02. There's a reason the CP-205 is 4 times heavier and 4 times bigger than the CP-02: the CP-02 is missing all the electronics for isolating the output voltages. You can also note has the CP-205 has 2 "polarity reversing cables", while the CP-02 has none. That's because you can't reverse polarity with this box.Maybe this is just a "copy and paste" accident by Caline, since most (maybe all) of their other power supplies meet the spec of "Every channel output is isolated and short-circuit protected". But it's definitely not the case with the CP-02 and I hope they fix their ad copy to reflect that.

It’s great.
Small as a postage stamp. Works a treat and great value. Will see how it does after a few more months usage.
