I don't want that. Any way to disable that feature?** A: I’m pretty sure since these are designed to be hardwired that it is assumed that they are on all of the time. With that said, it should only be doing what you’re describing one time, right after you install it. However, it sounds like you have a separate switch connected to it where you are manually controlling the power to it for some reason and the light is coming on every time you initially power it. The only other scenario that I can think of is following a power outage which shouldn’t be happening enough to worry about it. I don’t believe this switch is sophisticated enough to have the feature you’re hoping for. **Q: Is this safe for my family with electrical safety testing certification from etl or ul or csa?** A: We use V0 flame retardant PC material, safe and excellent mechanical properties. I have it set up in a laundry room. Ease of use for me now on. No more hands full and trying to flip the switch.Install was a bit tricky as I was trying to mount this on a ceiling box. The holes in the box do not line up with the holes on the sensor. So, be aware of that.Set it to lowest sensitivity due to cats using the litter box. I didn't want them setting it off.
