5-Minute Sketching -- Animals and Pets: Super-quick Techniques for Amazing Drawings

It is a small size for a reason. Small content. Hate to be so critical, but simply didn't find much substance. Perhaps for a youngster just learning, it would be nice.

A very compact book, with tons of useful information and nice reference pictures. I think it complements Weatherly's book on animal drawing pretty well. Totally recommended.

This book is great!In just the first chapter alone, I already have begun to improve at identifying shapes, and sketched these raccoons from what I learned.

Got this book for Christmas and I cant put it down. Not only is there great information on sketching animals but it is full of beautiful inspirational sketches!

There are many interesting example sketches in this book, which might inspire ideas and encourage learners to copy the styles. However, I was extremely disappointed in the text. The author doesn't actually teach any skills at all, or offer any kind of detailed instruction. Instead most paragraphs are simply repetitive, vague and unhelpful waffle. If you learn from example pictures then it might be worth giving this book a go. If you want real, written instruction in how to draw animals, then I doubt that this is the book for you.

pequeños consejos básicos sobre el bocetado de este tema. consejos generales, pero está bien como chuleta o anotaciones que siempre viene bien recordar, y por supuesto para aprender también. bien estructurado y con muchos temas tratados.

身近なペットから、動物園で飼育されている生き物まで、掲載されていて　骨格・筋肉を知ると説得力がある絵になると思う。輪郭だけではなく構造を知れば、容易に描く事も可能になると思う。森羅万象ありとあらゆる物を描く楽しみにすればいいと思う。構造を知ると、短時間で描けると思う。
