A hand thrown stoneware jug with white glaze inside, warm buff colour outside. Suitable for serving wine, water or fruit juices. An excellent pitcher for bringing water to the table for large gatherings. Studio pottery - individually made with care. This pottery comes from my studio in Cumbria (UK) where each piece is individually crafted. The pots are thrown by hand on the wheel or if not round - formed using a press mould. They are then fired to 1280°c with a gas kiln using a reducing atmosphere to bring out the special colour responses from the glaze. • All the pieces are 100% Oven, Microwave and Dishwasher safe. • All my products are fired at high temperature (1280°c), for extra strength and durability. • Please allow for small differences in sizes and shapes between the items as they are all handmade and each one is unique. The glaze colours might also vary slightly, even in the same batch. • The photos of my pots are shot in natural light to represent the glaze colours as realistically as possible, but be aware that these may vary depending on your computer screen. • All items are very well packed in bubble-wrap and individual boxes to arrive with you safely.
