Sony PS5 Console Digital Standalone

This product was delivered to me after 15-18 days, back when it was not easily accessible. After i got this, i played some games at had a lot of fun. But, along with that, i had some observations which made me write this review.Firstly, there is no doubt that this gaming machine is phenomenal at it's job. There is no lag whatsoever...even after enabling the 120Hz mode. To play games at 120Hz, you gotta have a monitor which supports 120Hz, and if its 1080p, then the HDMI port should be atleast 1.4 version, and if it's 4K, then the HDMI port should be 2.1 version. The PS5 comes with a HDMI 2.1 cable, so there is no need to buy another for it to deliver 4K 120Hz performance.Secondly, the machine gets a bit warm after playing for an hour, and starts to heat up after that at a slow but increasing pace. I was playing warzone 2.0, and it was getting quite warm after some matches. Same with fortnite. So, i don't think it's anything bad, and it is just normal.Thirdly, even after i keep it covered up whenever i am not using it, after about 2 months it had collected quite some dust, and i had to open up the front and back panels to clean off the dirt. Do it once every month if you dont want dust to get accumulated in the main power supply.So, i can say that i am extremely satisfied with my purchase, and if anyone is looking forward to get a PS5, just go for it.Just a very important reminded, please consider the disk version, just so that you have that flexibility to buy games with a physical existence and also, the disk versions get discounts much more frequently than digital version, and that can save a lot of your money, much more than the initial 10K you save buying a digital version.

See whatever you think about console vs pc gaming but talking about price to performance ratio and console will never disappoint you even though sony is Dissapointing customers like us by increasing price of their subscription service by 35%. But product itself like this ps is just amazing, so smooth while gaming and lol I don't even know if fans are moving or not because there is literally no sound and it was not even getting too hot as pc used to and i played resident evil 4 remake, got etc games while also downloading and installing games in background and it did everything so well. Without lag and game like resident evil 4 remake looks so good can't wait to play spider man 2 and rest of amazing games for years to come on this beast. One more note controller is amazing, no complains there though if you really want to enjoy those triggers and haptics you need to mute the mic which I got to realise later but they are working amazingly

Took some time to deliver, but worth the wait. Using it since 6+months. Also comes with 1 year warranty slip. Definitely go for it when on sale.

I have a 1080p non HDR TV but still the games on the ps5 look insane.It works like butter.Its the best purchase i have ever made.A must buy for gamers

Let's start with the packaging part. No Amazon packaging used for my PS5 and the PS5 box was damaged on one side. Fortunately The console is safe and not damaged and working properly. For such a product Amazon must use more care during delivery else the console also can be damaged. One star deducted for poor packaging.Regarding PS5 Digital console; it's great and definitely the SSD is a huge improvement over PS4. Games are loading much faster also downloads are very fast. Gaming experience in 4K Tv is awesome. Also much quieter and less warmer than PS4 Pro . You can definitely go for it.

As said in other reviews, was sceptical about the packaging, but the PS5 was secure. The packaging should really be improved by Amazon. The piece was latest manufacture dated Apr 2023 and it had everything inside the box except a physical warranty card. Not sure if that should be included or is it just the 1 year warranty label that says on the box. Astro’s Playroom is a must play at first to discover the various capabilities of the dual sense controller. Then I’d suggest going for the yearly subscription of EXTRA tier to get the whole games catalogue access. Spiderman, god of war, mortal kombat, ratchet and klank are just some of the amazing games available to download. If you have a supported 4K Tv with high refresh rate, look no more further into investing on this console, its super engaging and a delight to play for adults and kids alike. Very happy with this purchase.

Outer box wasn't in great condition when received however everything inside was fine and perfect. Working really well. It has Bluetooth but it doesn't support bluetooth headphones even from Sony.

After having used the PS5 for about a week, I can comfortably say that it's one of the greatest Next-gen consoles of the time. The gameplay is smooth and the controller's new haptic feedback is truly immersive and amazing. Haven't noticed any significant heating or fan noise yet, although one downside is that if you have a huge games collection especially from the PS4, you're gonna need to get an expandable nvme 2 SSD for it to download them all. Another issue is that it collects dust quite easily, thankfully the side plates can easily be removed for cleaning it about once a month. If you're a gamer that plays demanding titles like Warzone or God of war, then look no further because this console has it all.
