High quality gel nails at home, Finally!This lamp comes with the bulbs detatched so you need to plug them in which takes a little effort and feels a bit like your going to break them but they are reasonably strong.My wife is really into nail varnish, so much so that we recently purchased a large trolley for them all. She has moved over to gel nails and this lamp has become her trusty friends. It has a 120 second timer which is perfect for setting her nail varnishes. It took a bit of practice and advice until she got the perfect formula or prep with wipes, base coats, gel, top coat and finishing wipes. She has used China glaze which she found to be pretty poor but swears by any bluesky or elite99 products. The lamp works really well at curing these brands using the timer. It is alot quicker to do nails with this than standard varnish as there is no messing about waiting for them to dry. Not to mention they stay on for much longer. Probably a week to 10 days.One thing that needs to be considered with these lamps is that UV begins to degrade over time so the effectiveness of the bulbs will weaken over time but I would imagine this to be a long time and at this price it isn't really an issue.The power cable isn't really very long but an extension lead soon sorted that out. The unit does get warm after doing 2/3 peoples nails one after the other but I guess this isn't designed for repeated use like a at a salon.All this being said I cannot fault that at the price of one salon application my wife can do her nails at home over and over again!

Was looking for a UV lamp for a long time so me and my mum could do gel nails at home. We were sceptical about buying a really cheap lamp as the reviews weren’t too good but we didn’t want to pay too much as we aren’t experts in gel nails or anything and we really just wanted to trial it.This lamp was more middle range price wise but still a very reasonable price. This lamp was also mentioned on a comparison website as one of the best lamps out there. We were quite sceptical but on first use it was perfect.You can fit your whole hand/ foot and the timer function works perfect. For the base coat, and after every coat of the colour, we used one round of the timer and for the top coat we used 2 and that worked perfect. No burning or anything just a good glossy finish. We used blue sky nail varnishes.Perfect for at home use on nails and toenails. We love ours and won’t be going to the salon again!!!

I bought this for UV-resin crafting needs, rather than for fancy manicure purposes.This unit is great for crafting uses as the bottom panel (with a reflective metal sheet on) is removable, so work-pieces can be loaded on to that as a tray and then it just slides in to the unit. Great when there's liquid resin in/on things and you don't want it to spill off.I find the two-minute timer is quite handy for UV-resin crafting - it won't be fully set after one cycle, but solid-enough to slide the tray out and turn things around a bit before putting everything back in. Two or three 2-min cycles leaves UV craft-resin nicely hardened, for the thickness I'm using. So much easier than fiddling around with a UV torch, provided your work piece will fit.I am using this with Palmero Crafts brand hard UV-set resin (B07TXWYV92 is the Amazon product ID) and the combination is great. I don't have a resin-type 3d printer (MSLA, etc.) to be able to advise if this lamp would be of any use for curing resin-prints.

Great product, saves a fortune on going to a nail salon.

I bought this specifically for curing UV Resin craft pieces and it did not disappoint.I found it very easy to set up - Take out the bottom tray, unwrap & insert the bulbs into the holders, plug in & you’re ready to go!I’ve only made one piece so far but it’s turned out very well, not tacky at all, unlike my previous 9w UV lamp and each layer only took 2 minutes to cure, it didn’t get excessively hot or create a lot of odour so all in all I’m very happy with the purchase

The product is quite big and sturdy. I think there are leaner models on the market. Also I've read, that UV lamps are not as good for the skin as LED lamps. So if I could turn back time, I'd get a LED lamp and a smaller model. However, with the timer function and thanks to the big space inside the lamp, curing is very 3 dimensional and effective.

I have had the most problems with this gel machine. The bulbs were dying constantly so always having to order new ones, never consistently working, there was alway a problem with it. Wouldn't buy again.

Ordered this uv nail lamp Saturday afternoon and it arrived Sunday morning. After searching around it worked out cheaper to buy the items needed separately rather than in a starter kit. I have never done gel nails before but was getting sick of normal nail polish chipping within the same day I applied it. The lamp itself is a good size , you can easily fit your hand or foot under without it being too bulky so it's easy to move around and store. You get 4 uv bulbs which you need to fit. I found one of them a bit fiddly but still did this within 10 mins. Then you are all set up and ready to go. Having done my research I has already purchased bluesky base and top coat , lint free wipes, prep and wipe, remover and coloured gel. The timer function on the lamp is brilliant. Just press that each time to cure a Layer and each hand or foot takes no more than 10 mins in total. I wish I had purchased sooner my nails are beautiful and sparkly with no signs of chipping. If you can paint your nails with normal varnish you can easily do this!
