Interesting story.

Excellent job Phelps.......we all have a choice, I'm 63 yrs. Old and have made many mistakes in this life.....but I try to grow everyday. I'm realize you must look towards the positive and the light. Very bad childhood, is not the issue....what is the issue is, it's your own inside honor.....your own sense of what is right way deep inside yourself.....you can sell your soul if you disregard ýour own warning bells. I have learned the hard way, nobody can manipulate and make you feel inferior WITHOUT your consent.

one of those hard to believe but true stories. man got one woman to help him kill another.unfortunately, dangerous and violent people who are good at putting on a facade, a phony and likable personality, can get jobs and form relationships that you wouldn't think they could. this man had a criminal history, yet he was able to get a job as a trainer at a gym, where he was popular. clients said that he was very supportive of their weight loss and fitness goals and a good motivator. he was popular with women, too. he wasn't great looking, but he was fit and muscular, and the trainer relationship created a closeness and intimacy that made women comfortable and attracted to him.however, he was a violent rapist, who used his romantic relationships to find victims.the woman that he killed here was going to testify against him in a rape trial. he was determined not to go back to prison. with his history, a conviction would have meant a lot of time. he developed a relationship with a young, naive woman, and convinced her that the charges were made up by a vengeful and crazy ex-girlfriend (she wasn't the only female who believed that story). he talked her into pursuing the victim to kill her. after numerous failed attempts, he married this girlfriend, knowing that a spouse couldn't be compelled to testify against him, and they worked together to kill the victim.

After reading his first book my first thought was "Where have you been all my (literary) life ?! My 2nd was how fast I could get to Amazon and buy more to read as they surely must be as good. Well I was kinda right in that, it's just that this book isn't as good as the first, it blows it out of the water ! Just think if your favorite thriller writer had a hot & heavy (literary!) night with an outstanding true crime writer and one of them went on to birth one hell of a love child .. then you have Kill For Me. I don't know if it's ever right to enjoy a true crime book, even being put on the spot and trying to give a reason, all the ones that in a thriller would be understandable in a book like this would just be repugnant. And yet thousands, or perhaps millions of books just like this one are read by just as many fans like myself. Maybe it's seeing how the police etc get their man, maybe it's looking at someone in these books and thinking "There but for the grace of God...." or seeing the case taken through the courts until the perpetrator is taken down for as long as possible. Maybe it's all that and that for as long as Man has been able to tell stories, many many of them have been cautionary tales.

Michael Phelps does another outstanding job researching and presenting this story of a real creep called Timothy "Tracey" Humphrey who manipulated everyone he came in contact with. I do not understand how a woman as pretty and smart as Sandee Rozzo got involved in somebody as creepy and violent as Tracey. After brutally abducting and raping Sandee he then gets his Young wife to commit a murder for him and seems to manipulate and control everyone he comes into contact with. A Chillingly Disturbed Young ManThis was a real page turner, and I Could not put this book down! A must read, in my opinion!!! I Highly recommend this book to all True Crime fans.I am an ARC Reviewer on Goodread and BookSirens and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I enjoy long books. I only finish reading if it captures my interest at the beginning ifthe author leads into the story with a good setting. I read the samplesand decide if the book is a story I can get into. I usually go for the free books. I will definitely read all Mr. Phelps' books. He doesn't use profanity unnecessarily.No

Good book...but the author repeats himself too much...the book should be reduced by 70 or 80 pages...book too long goodby

Tracey Humphrey has a problem. Actually more than one. He is a bulked out, roid raged, woman hating bully who is looking at a ten year sentence if the woman he kidnapped, raped, and beat up testifies against him in an upcoming trial. His solution is to convince his new girlfriend/wife to kill the other woman, Sandee Rizzo. He uses all of his intimidation techniques to convince his young wife, Ashley, to do the deed for him. Somehow he never believed that law enforcement would eventually trace the deed back to him.Phelps has done his usual masterful job of both weaving a story and researching thoroughly the story of how ignorant criminals can be especially when they go up against the best of law enforcement.

Bought this after seeing piers Morgan's killer women series. Had to wait a little while as it came from America. Well worth the wait. A very interesting story of a man's control over women, a manipulative and bullying character and an abuser of women. An unusual story.

Very interesting read, fact is always stranger than fiction. The author has put the book well together, it is a page turner and hard to put down. It is a sad true story about a woman who was murdered, and how the police had a difficult task in catching her killers, it's gripping to the end. If you like true crime I would recommend it.

M William Phelps takes the reader step-by-step through the many twisted stages of a gripping and shocking true murder case. Very readable from start to finish and a sad account of wasted lives, both victim and perpetrator. Thoroughly recommend.

This case is so different from my normal ones,it had me hooked within the first 10 pages.and there are over 400 of them.The story of a man with a narcistic personality,who almost wrecked the lives of the women he met.and even got the last one to kill for him. A great spellbinding read.

I purchased this book after watching ' piers Morgan's killer women ' on t.v . I was fascinated by the story so had to buy the book which went into loads more detail that the programme. An excellent read !
