Good, solid, secure lock, but has a potential flaw and is expensive.
These patio locks are rock solid. They make a very satisfying thud when they engage. The supplied screws are good too, which is something that often lets down other locks. The advantage of these locks is that they're angled slightly downwards. This means that someone trying to lever up your patio door to remove it from the rails, will end up also pulling the door towards inwards. This potentially limits how far the door can be raised, and prevents the door being pulled outwards. This gives them an advantage over patio locks that just engage horizontally. For this feature, you pay between 6x (currently £30) as much compared to similar locks that engage horizontally. I feel this is a bit too expensive, and would prefer this lock to be around £10 to £15. This is why it loses a star, especially given cheaper versions also have the added security of a key. This brings me to the flaw. These locks do not have a key. Now this is both a good and bad thing. It's good because one of the biggest problems with security in general is that additional security often comes with additional hassle, and people end up not bothering to use them. I am happy to use this lock every time I open and close the patio door, as unlocking and locking this lock is as simple as pulling it and rotating it to unlock it, and rotating it to lock it again. There are no keys to find and insert or turn - which is what stopped me using my old patio lock. However, this also means it has a big security flaw. I found that I could look under the edge of my patio door from the outside and see the bolt. I could then push the bolt out with a screwdriver (as if I'd pulled it from the inside). This makes the lock quite easy to defeat on my patio door. It may be avoidable on better patio doors that are sealed at the bottom, or perhaps by relocating the lock. On a patio lock that requires a key, you obviously can't do this as you would have to turn the key first before the bolt could disengage.

A bit expensive for what it is
There are not many products like that on the market so in a way I had to buy it to secure my sliding door to the garden. It’s a bit overpriced for what it is but it’s easy to fit and does the job.Mine came in an open and brocken packaging, I’m guessing a returned item, but the item itself was fine.It feels a bit more secure with it.

Works well
Excellent. But it is not designed for all types of patio sliding doors

A defo for patio doors.
It works really well. A little difficult to fit as you drill through metal and you must get it right first time...I did but just. Tad expensive maybe.
