The "Wraith" is an amazing stock cooler. I purchased this one to use on my home-made server and it works great on an old AM3 socket motherboard rocking a 6 core Phenom. I've got the same cooler in my gaming rig on my FX 8370 and it has no problem keeping the thing under 70 Celsius even when it's turboing up to 4.3 Ghz while gaming, encoding high resolution video, etc.

Original Wraith cooler that comes bundled with the FX 8350 and 8370. Similar to the newer Wraith Max with the exclusion of the RGB LED ring.

It does a great job. Keeps processor very cool and does it very quietly.

Lowered my cpu temp by more than 10 degrees Fahrenheit and lowered RPMs by almost 900.Great amd cooler. Can be a tricky install so don't be afraid to mess with the metal prongs for them to clip on. Make sure you have room on either side to maneuver your hands.

I got this with a 8370, but i was using a much much bigger air cooler and decided to take this and put it on a FX-6100. With that tiny crap stock heat sink fan that a little bigger the 1/4 the wraith i got it 4.0 core. With the 4 cores on the 6100 it runs alot cooler then the 8350 and 8370. Plus that big boy wraith cooler and if you run speedfan you can make this hum. For some reason my bios didnt like running it above 2,000 rpm. I actually lucked out getting this with the 8370 because i got a MATX case for the 6100 and the air cooler i got was like 3 inches too big. This is way easier to work around then most other premium cpu coolers on the market for smaller cases.
