The company is not available for support!
Imoumlive cannot be contacted for questions about product, period! It is a great little saw & I have no complaints. It enabled me to trim a lot of limbs with no effort hardly at all. It's lightweight also. Here's the bad downside; You cannot contact the company for product support for anything, like I want to buy another battery; or, is there an OTC battery that will work? I want to buy another battery & the means to do so is "we can't be contacted! Too bad!"I think it's a "throwaway" product they are selling! Or either they don't / can't speak English! It's a ONE STAR for support! Grampa

Works as intended
I like the fact that you can use the saw by itself or attach it to the pole. There's no need to by 2 separate saws. I also like the fact that it comes with an oil reservoir, but you still need to manually pump it. I tried using one on my Makita 18v Li batteries to it and it worked just fine. I can't say how long it would last or if it is just as strong cutting branches since all I did was see if it would fit and power on.

If looking for a lower price battery operated pole saw this is a good one.
The first one I bought had a few issues. But I was impressed that company contacted me and sent a new one. So far it's been working great and I put it thru several different style tree branches and it did the job great. One thing that stands out over most poles saws I think even Makita that my brother has is the pole telescopes out and my brother has to add poles to his. If you want a reasonable price pole saw that works this is it. It comes with a extra chain and asserioses. Plus you can use the saw separate and I cut 4 days straight trimming and it did the job very well. The only thing you need to be careful of is loosing the chain cover plastic hand tightener. But you will be pleased overall. James

Great light weight saw for lighter duty work
We own a canyon and river property with lots of hiking trails that always require trimming. We had a big storm here recently and needed a portable unit to reach distant trail work.I needed a small electric saw but one with some extra reach so I purchase the saw with the extension pole. The unit was well built and well packaged. The saw and battery were a tight fit but have loosened up some after use. The adjustable angle of the saw holder works well and has also begin to loosen up over time. (2+ months of use now). The pole is really convenient and works well. Just be aware of the tightening mechanism and screws and NOT to over tighten, but just snug enough. Also keep an eye on the locking mechanism so you don't loose the screw/nuts. I added a small amount of clear silicon grease to the mechanisms so not to wear plastic on plastic.I am always skeptical of reviews buying items sight unseen. However after some time using in the field I am pleasantly surprised with its capabilities. Remember its battery not 120AC powered so it does not have the instant cutting power of a full sized electric chain saw. The trick is to NOT place the saw blade on the limb and then pull the trigger. Rather place the blade in position - pull the trigger and allow a second or so for the motor to reach full speed -- then apply the spinning blade to the limb. Also do Not apply any extra pressure. Let the weight of the saw and pole do the cutting. The blade is very sharp and you will be surprised at how well it cuts. You will need to adjust the chain tension when new as it will stretch slightly with use and require some tightening as it wears in. (this is normal so keep an eye on the tension throughout the day) Also keep the blade well oiled after every few cuts. I use a chain saw oiler instead of the squirt unit built-in the saw, which makes for a messy saw where the saw dust sticks. I use it regularly on 2-3" cedar and oak without any issue what so ever. I have even cut 4-5" in branches working slowly. Again let the blade do the work and keep the motor speed up high. The battery seems to run about 40-45 minutes which is a lot when cutting only small limbs. Overall I would give this a BIG Thumbs UP! A good product that actually works!!

Very effective
Specific tool for a specific job. It’s not for cutting a cord of firewood, it is perfect for limbs up to 4 inches and less. Battery life is good and charges quickly. I bought a second battery of smaller amperage which is perfect for work in the backyard. It cuts smoothly . The extension pole is sturdy and the main reason I bought the chainsaw. After cutting down a larger branch, I can easily disconnect the saw from the pole and make short work out of reducing the cuttings into a pile. The saw is rather lightweight and well balanced on the pole, no need to put force on the saw because the weight of the saw and pole cut through any tree branch. This tool fills the niche between pruning sheers and a gasoline chainsaw.

Works great. Happy with battery life. I would buy it again.
Trimmed lots of my trees overhanging the dirt road I live on along my property line. The Chain guard has a bolt and nut. The nut came off. I went to the local Ace hardware and they have a Giant selection of nuts and bolts. I was happy I found the nut to fit. It does NOT fit in the molded indent the nut fits in and the bolt is not long enough for it to fit outside that indent. I used a longer bolt and the nut I bought at Ace and it not resides on the outside of that frame. It works. Wrote the seller and asked a question. Got a response but did not answer my question??? Question was--where do I find a replacement nut. Have to keep adjusting the bar/chain by grabbing it and moving it back and forth but I would still buy it again overall.

Generally well designed and works very well with the new saw that I purchased with it. However, it does not work with the earlier Imoumlive model that I bought July 2022 as I expected from advertised literature. The saw works when using the switch on the saw, so it does get power from the battery at the pole handle end, but the switch at the battery end does not operate the saw. Also, the small knob for tightening the chain easily falls off when saw is in use and is lost if not careful. The oil dispensers on both old and new models does not do a good job of lubricating the chain. Most of the oil runs down the body of the saw. Otherwise, both models do a good job of cutting tree branches, and the pole extension is a great addition.
