Simple Designs LT2010-BWN Black Twisted Vine Hanging Crystals Table Lamp, Brown

This is a great reading lamp, very attractive, and takes up very little space. Although the shade is brown, it provides sufficient soft light over a wide area in my large living room. The light is not overly bright or glaring through the shade. I am using a standard energy saving coil type bulb, and there is no overheating from it. This is a very versatile lamp that would work well in a kitchen, bedroom, study, hall or entryway, or even in a nursery for night feeding. The shade is sturdy, and could be recovered easily with a different fabric to coordinate with a specific color scheme if desired. I accessorized mine with a plaid 2.5 inch wired ribbon wrapped around the middle, and tied in a bow in the front. It would make a nice gift, and is a bargain at the price too.

Takes a normal every day bulb.I was a little worried, so many different descriptions of the type of bulb it takes.Well, worry no more, I took a tube style energy saving bulb, and it screws in and works fine.Same old normal energy bulb you put in the ceiling, that they sell in Walmart.It does not come with a bulb, buy hey, at least you know any old bulb you use in the house will work with this thing.Look wise, it looks exactly like in the picture, decent size but not too big.Gives off enough light to be used as a main light for a living room, but is never too overbearing.The lamp shade gives off a nice natural brown glow, not any of that ugly off color white, beige, or vomit brown from the 70's, but a nice natural brown.The switch is a sea saw toggle, so you push one end and the other end pops up, nice firm click.I wish it was closer to the base, but works just fine with some creative wire management/placement.You can also install, and remove bulbs without taking the shade off which is awesome.The shade itself came totally encased in Styrofoam, so ZERO dings, or mess ups to it.Pretty much bet you, you'll never have this thing come with the shade dented, as it's fully enclosed in super thick white foam.The glass Jewels where shiny and also had no scratches etc.Wire frame is rubberized, and gives off a nice slick black reflection.Should be super easy to keep clean.Overall I'm really happy with this.I was worried about what sort of bulb this thing took, but when it got here, I decided to try to pop a regular old energy saving bulb in it.And it works and fits zero issue.So if that's a concern, just take any old house hold light bulb, pop it in, and you're set.You don't need those weirdo chandler bulbs, or those mini scone things.Just use a normal bulb.

I really like this lamp but I had to call Amazon for a replacement of the first one I ordered. The fabric on the shade wasn't attached on about half of the shade and one of the crystals was missing. It only took 2 or 3 days to get the replacement but it has a chip of paint missing from the front of the lamp stand. I just decided to keep it rather than sending it back as well since it's not a big deal. I put a 15 watt bulb in and placed it in our main bathroom. It's a really cute lamp that takes up minimal space and gives just the right amount of lighting for our purposes. I also like that the flip switch is on the cord and is just a left/right flip rather than the clicking wheel. We have the cord laying right beside it so it's super easy for me to just reach in at the bottom of the lamp to flip it on or off. It's a great light for the middle of the night or when we want some ambient light.

This lamp is really pretty and stylish and not at all what you would expect for so little money...when you turn the light on, the light reflection through the shade is so pretty...if you look closely at the photo you will get a small sense of that look I just described. The crystals drops are pretty and I am all about bling so I hung some sparkly jewelry items on it and it looks so nice. Its taller than you might think and that makes it great for reading in bed which was its purpose. It is not at all cheesy or flimsy junk. Its a wonderfully stylish light and if you take the crystals off, it would easily be unisex. The bronzey shade with the variant reflection when the light is on makes it especially nice. With the wrought iron curls and crystals it is great for a teen or her mom but without the crystals, Dad would like it just as well....great design for sure. I would guess twice the price or even more if I didn't know. I wanted something inexpensive but I was sure I would get what I paid for so I resigned myself to accept that...but when I opened the box I was thrilled...this is a bargain....

Was looking for a whimsical bedside lamp for the guest room and everything I found was ridiculously expensive. When I came across this lamp, I thought too good to be true. It was exactly what I was looking for at a very low price. It arrived today and I have to say that I'm even more impressed with the way it looks in person. I had the candelabra bulbs already so that was easy. The lamp shade needed a little tweaking from the trip but that just took a few seconds. It is light weight but sits fine with no signs that it will topple over and there were no defects in the lamp that I could find. It's the perfect size and brightness for a nightstand and adds a ton of charm.

These small lamps fit the bill for me. They are small, the darkened shades don't allow much light, but they are simple and create ambiance.

I had been searching for a little low cost lamp for my living room for some time when I found this. It is cute and unassuming. It gives the room a nice soft glow, perfect for a bit of light whilst watching tv. It could be a reading light if one was sitting close to the lamp. I have plans to spray paint the metal a brown bronze and perhaps affix the base to a piece of wood as this lamp would fall if knocked into (as most lamps would). The "crystals" can easily be removed and replaced with another bauble if desired.

It's stylish and reasonably priced

These are beautiful lamps for a bedroom - one of them arrived defective and I contacted Amazon.ca and they very quickly responded in sending me a replacement and an email with a postal label so I could return the defective one at no charge

I'm a girlie girl and love this bedside table lamp. The shade gives the room a nice warm ambiance. Would recommend to anyone who needs a small lamp.
