It was a great gift for the cook in my house

I like that you can prop your spoons and ladles upright on this, instead of laying them down. It takes up so much less room on my stove. It's really easy to clean when you are done and seems really sturdy.

This is a decent spoon/ladles rest that work as expected without issues. It's supposedly made of stainless steel but there is no easy way to verify that without destroying it so I'll just take their words for it. It's for the most part well-constructed; however, it does have some unpolished and sharp/jagged edges around one of the corners (pic 4-9) and you WILL see blood if you aren't careful with it when cleaning/washing it with your bare hands.The rest of the edge seems just fine although it's FAR from good because it's barely polished and that's NOT something I wanna see for any for anything in the kitchen. It's probably not sharp enough to cause injury (when washing it) but that also says something about its overall quality which makes me wonder about the longevity of this supposedly stainless steel.≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a somewhat decent spoon/ladle rest that works as expected without issues although I can't say the same about its manufacturing process due to unpolished and sharp/jagged edges around one of the corners. I'd exercise caution when hand cleaning/washing it to avoid seeing blood in the kitchen. Your mileage might vary.

When making soup we have a fork to test the produce, ladle for scooping soup along with other cooking utensils for food preparation out on the counter or stove top. It gets crowded and cluttered. The Vamotto vertical soup ladle rest was a welcome relief that got these utensils out of the way. The rest was put together very quickly and the stainless-steel material from which it is made makes cleaning an easy task and assures us of its durability.
