For 50.00 a chair these left a lot of room in our budget and without limiting our design vision for our new home.Kids helped put them together. Very simple once you figured out there is only one correct direction for the leg portion to go. We did start a few incorrectly— but definitely an easy fix. Still over all incredibly easy.They seem stain resistant so far. No marks etc where food has fallen.Very happy with our purchase.Edit— they’re not black in color. Not sure why it says that on my review.

Two of the chairs in the set of four came with brown legs rather than black. They're nice chairs, they just don't match, which is not the end of the world, but annoying.

Chairs look great! They were super easy to assemble. I was worried because of the two negative reviews but thankfully the chairs are wonderful. I would definitely buy them again.

Really nice look to the material, an attractive product, but sitting on it, I felt like Elf during the North Pole scenes. Kinda tiny for an adult dining chair (6’ 200lb). My girlfriend (5’2 120) found them uncomfortable and felt they reminded her of elementary school chairs.They are std seat height, just small in stature. Dwarfed by a decent table. They’d be perfect for dainty folks in a dainty setting.

Originally got a different set of chairs and they did not fit under my table 2 each side for a cozy 6 seated dinnet. So, very happy with these mid century chairs… They are very soft to touch but very sturdy chairs…
