Excuse the brown algae in my tank XD
I'm currently prepping a tank for freshwater fish and shrimp, and decided to purchase this bc the plants in stores always look so pathetic and unhealthy....I was very impressed with the amount of moss in this purchase! This is a perfect amount for my 20gal tank (I'm planning on propagating this moss so it will grow bigger over time). All the pieces were green and healthy. There were a few pieces of dead plant matter but not enough to be worrying at all. The moss was packed with care and basically no risk of the bags breaking in transit. My tank currently has no fish in it and I treated the water to kill off any possible bacteria/parasites. I recommend quarantining and treating any new plants that u add to your tank if you have fish to reduce risk of introducing anything harmful to your tank. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

Half of the moss was brown.
OK I don't understand how you can excuse "you'll get some brown portions when you receive your order..." I've been growing aquarium plants and Java Moss and Fern since 1988. The portion from the LFS store I bought it from back then was all green and healthy. Yeah there are small tips and portions of this that are green, but the dead portions just eventually decompose and feed algae I would have been happier with more green and 1/3rd of the amount I received.

So far so good.
I always quarantine and planeria treat my new plants to be safe, so I can't attest to the other reviews of infection. You do get like 3 golf ball sizes of moss which will fill about a normal kitchen drinking glass (that's how I quarantine the plants). They were slightly brown when I got them, but they were also moist and not submerged. When I quarantined them, I added plant food and they went a nice green, but then I put them in the tank and they are browned. A few weeks later they are balancing out but not ideal. I tied them on coconuts with fish line. Hopefully it turns out, if not I got other options, I just wanted more moss for my shrimp. I can say the shrimp love it so that's a plus.

Quality Plants and Excellent Seller
Have now purchased multiple times from Marcus Fish tanks, and have been blown away by the customer service, generosity of portions sent, and great quality. Received over 20 plants and ALL are doing great! They really go above and beyond. Can't recommend Marcus Fish Tanks enough.FYI: you find overall better prices and deals at Marcus Fish Tanks website. I found this out on my second order.

Very poor condition
I have ordered several plants off Amazon. Instructions said if they are brown no worry they'll green up. After light, fertilizer and potassium they are still brown and not improving. Its frustrating to try to battle with plants to get them to stop melting when they should've came green anyway.
