HQRP High Power 3w LED Bulb Compatible with Maglite 2D 3D / 2C 3C / 2-3 D C Cell Torch Flashlights Conversion Bulb Upgrade

Installed in my 3xD Mag Lite.Easy to install, no problem with fitment.It did make the light more "white" which appears to be brighter.In reality, it's probably not brighter, but because it's not the dull yellowish color the original bulb was, it appears brighter.When I shine the light on objects, they seem to stand out better due to the whiter color.The focus feature of the Mag Lite did not change because of the upgrade, the beam adjustment is the same as it was with the original bulb.Compared to available options for flashlights these days, the big Mag-Lites aren't very practical.I'll probably keep this Mag Lite in my boat bag, just because it's durable and easy to find on a dark boat, so the upgrade was somewhat worthwhile.

Just okay. Replaced an older TerraLux bulb rated at 100 lumens and chose this over a newer 140 lumens TerraLux. Slightly brighter and more intense light than my old TerraLux 100 bulb, but not nearly as bright as I thought it would be. 180 to 200 lumens? No way. Calling it 150 would be a stretch. I'd say it's equivalent to about 125 lumens - brighter than the old TerraLux, but not even close to my Costco Cree pocket flashlight rated at 200 lm. I may go ahead and buy the newer TerraLux bulb rated at about 140 lumens and keep this as a backup.

Very bright! I replaced the original MagLight halogen in my 3xD-Cell light. The batteries in this light were a it week, and the halogen bulb was noticeably dim. I left the weak batteries in to see how well these bulbs work with old batteries. Even with the weak batteries, these bulbs are amazingly bright.So these bulbs will also save you on batteries. Not only do they draw less power, allowing the batteries to last longer; but even when the batteries are low, these bulb are very light.

I had orderd the Terra-Lux bulbs but found that some produced a green tinted light. Amazon was great in processing exchanges and I ultimately got two bright white bulbs. the HQRP bulb is a little bit brighter and is bright white, I'm very pleased with this bulb even thought its a little bit more expensive and you have to pay for shipping. I wish it was a Prime product.

Thought it would've been a little brighter. Maybe if it was in 3D instead of 2D it would be. With that being said its still much better than the old bulb

So far I'm impressed a whole lot more light than the original incandescent bulb, now we just have to see how it lasts

I ordered this product to update my old Maglite D 2-cell flashlight. It fit perfectly and made such an improvement. Also, I still had some adjustable beam as compared to the original bulb. Cheap way to upgrade an old flashlight considering a new LED version of this same light is about $35.00 or more.
