I purchased this mic because of its price point and good reviews. I received the mic and began to test it out. It didn’t work. I figured I was doing something wrong but after some research I found that it is a plug and play mic and did not need any other attachments for it to work properly. So I tried it with my iPhone and Android phones, neither worked so it had to be the lavalier. I lost some valuable audio recording for my videos that weekend. I was pretty upset about it. So before I wrote a bad review I contacted Kevin, the owner, and he immediatly replied with an apology and put a new mic in the mail immediately which I received in the mail 2 days later. The new mic worked perfect!!! Kevin was pleased to hear that it worked and that I was happy. This is good customer service and I appreciate the kindness from Kevin. I recommend everybody that wants a plug and play mic to order a BlueQbt Professional Lavalier Lapel mic. You won’t be disappointed.

I do quite a lot of acting, and self-taping is becoming a very important part of the industry. It's important for the video quality to be good, but most phones can handle that these days - the biggest problem is the audio quality. I bought this mic to improve the quality of my auditions, and it's helped a lot! The seller is fantastic too - after the second time I used the mic, I accidentally dropped it and the plastic clip that attaches the mic to your shirt sheared in half. The mic was basically useless at this point, as I bought a lav so I wouldn't have to hold a mic during an audition. I contacted the owner Kevin through Amazon to explain the situation, and he got back to me quickly and sent me a brand new clip, free of charge. It was great customer service, and I'm so impressed with the mic that I gave this product 5 stars!

Good sound quality but poor product quality. Started falling apart after a couple of months of use. Need to use this very cautiously.

This microphone comes with a very long cord that allows me to stand or sit quite a ways from the camera (video). My previous mic had a short cord that really limited my video taping options. It comes with a good quality carrying case. The audio quality is good but not great. For the price it is a good value.

I am not happy with this product at all. Once I plug it into my iPhone 11, Siri starts glitching and thinks I’m talking to just her so she keeps listening to what I’m saying. Also, I recorded a 10 minute video, and the sound didn’t come through at all! I wish I could return it but it’s past it’s return date...

UPDATE: The seller sent me a replacement product immediately and it worked great. I am extremely impressed with the customer service and I'm changing my 1-star review to 5-stars. Excellent.Original review: With all the great reviews, this product seemed like a sure winner. The packaging is super nice as described by others. However, when I plugged it into my iPhone 6S, it did not work at all. I have contacted the seller and will update this review if the problem gets resolved. But right now I am not happy.

UPDATE: Not a week after posting this review, I got a surprise replacement microphone in the mail. Thank you for such excellent customer service! I'll report back if this microphone fails again.ORIGINAL POST: This was a great microphone at first. I used it for a couple weeks to record video lectures without any problems. But, two weeks in, the lapel clip broke, and the microphone started to produce buzzing feedback in all of my recordings, making it useless. I'll edit my post if BlueQubit reaches out.

The media could not be loaded. Two stars for packaging and speedy service! But, unfortunately I wasn’t happy with the sound quality. I thought I had a defective mic at first, as it had a humming undertone/buzzing sound, then I got a replacement mic and it was worse. I then tried it with my friends phone to see if it was just my input device, but got the same issue. Bummer.
