I bought a similar product from another mfg., and this product far exceeded my expectations compared to the other product I bought. The biggest difference is the suction power and the safety indicators on both ends of the bar. When the suction power is fulling in place there is a green bar indicating the suction power is fully engaged. Without this it's just guess work if you can put your weight on the unit. I like the ribbed grip because when your hands are all soapy without it your hand would just slip. Built sturdy and stylish. Would definitely recommend and purchase again.

EDIT: We've had these up for over six weeks and they haven't budged! We are extremely happy with them!While I'm normally wary of suction cup mounts for anything, I am so far very pleased with these. We have an acrylic tub surround that we didn't feel comfortable drilling holes into for bars, assuming we could even find the studs behind it. These were easy to install and the color indicators are reassuring. My husband sometimes has balance issues and needs knee replacement surgery so he uses them to steady his balance when getting in and out of the shower. So far they haven't budged and seem very strong and trustworthy. I would encourage anyone considering this product to install it on recommended surfaces only, follow the instructions, and to check the color indicators before each use.

I have had this for about a year. It’s very well made. When it needs reapplication the red shows so you to secure it.

I bought this and installed it about five weeks ago. It sealed tight and provides a solid bar however one of the latches that operates the suction cups just broke off and fell to the shower floor without being touched. Although the bar is still holding, in time it will need to be reattached and that’s now impossible. It’s obviously a quality control issue, too bad as it seemed great but unfortunately I can’t recommend this product.

I like the feature that shows green if the suction is holding properly or red if it isn't - that gives me peace of mind that I know it is safe to use. Needed for someone with RA and can't always bend/lift legs high enough to step into and out of tub/shower. Feels really sturdy on the tiles and was incredibly simple and easy to install. Will probably purchase a second one.

The suction material is sticky and thick enough to stay put on my fiberglass enclosure which is not perfectly flat. Other devices failed. Would Recommend

the one end of the one of the bars has broken and the suction cup and spring and lever are dismantled. So there is only one good one out of the set. Can it be mended? It doesn't look like its repairable. Does that mean I have to order another set? Not so sure if it doesn't last any longer than this.
