Good value for what it does.
I use this oscilloscope for automotive repairs on my own cars. Not at professional level but as a hobby. I have put it through its paces over this last week using various signal input generators and have found it very capable. It is by no means a Picoscope but its no where near the cost either.I find its main purpose is for establishing if there is a signal or not. If you want to analyse the signal in greater detail then you need something with a bigger screen. This will usually mean a pc based system. The method of changing the scale is not very intuitive and takes some getting used too.For a portable scope to be used in the field at this price range it is perfec.

A lot of instrument for the money!
This is exactly what I expected from a 'keep in your tool box' scope meter and quite a bit more. Its strength is its small size and fully isolated electrical connection - a feature that in careful hands can view signals that would be problematic. It even has sufficient functionality to hold its own on the work bench. It would be very unfair to make much criticism of this device, because a weakness is that it cannot be a DMM ad a scope at the same time! Although it does its best to try.It does need some time invested to learn to navigate the buttons.

Nice bit of kit.
A bit clunky to use but it does work well. Having a scope, meter and sig gen all in one unit is very handy for work out and about.Battery life is good, good selection of probes included, seems to be accurate against my bench meter and scope.I think my only complaint is that the unit can only be used in one mode at a time, i.e. The signal generator can't be used ad the same time as the oscilloscope.Still a good unit for the price though.

Excellent Company
I bought this product in Jan 2022 and I placed on a shelf and did not use it until a few days ago.The display was showing a foggy ring around the perimeter so I contacted OWON SMARTTEK LTD the supplier and they said they could supply a replacement display. This was sourced from OWON in China and arrived within 4 days. I quickly fitted the display and the oscilloscope is now working perfectly.I cannot thank OWON SMARTTEK LTD and the staff enough for their help in solving my problem. The portable Owon hd272s is a great buy and I recommend it thoroughly. You will have no problems with OWON SMARTTEK LTD as a supplier.

Great
Fantastic little multimeter, oscilloscope and signal generator. Comes with a good set of accessories and an excellent firm case that has a padded flap to protect the display from being scratched by the accessories. Great it is powered by two standard lithium 18650 batteries that are cheap and easy to obtain. It also has a high impact rubberised casing for protection. If I had seen something like this 45 years ago when I started electronics repairs, I would have thought the Aliens had landed! Highly recommended.

Excellent multimeter
Very impressed with this, I admit it's a little tricky to get use too, but once you have used it a few times it gets easier, but highly recommended.

Small but controls are not intuative
I bought this because I wanted a Digital Multimeter which can show signal values changing overtime, hence the need for an oscilloscope. Nice package, not especially keen on the colours but hey, it arrived fully charged and appears to work fine. The screen is small but adequate for 'look see' type work and as a result the cursor measurement feature is quite handy, if fiddly to use. The built in signal generator is a useful add on which can be used whilst monitoring the signal with the scope. As a portable package it is really useful, and I believe its battery operation will get you away from grounding issues, could be handy as accidentally grounding a live circuit via the probe ground clip can be a painful lesson with an earthed mains supplied scope.Just one thing so far, the controls are not at all intuitive for me, to the point of being a pain, like many more sophisticated bench digital oscilloscopes there is not one control per function, instead you have to remember how to access each function rather than just see and turn, but after a fair bit of button pressing it is possible to operate the thing. I can see my self using the 'auto' button and putting up with what it does.I have not tried the software, which i assume you have to down load, but the main reason for buying was portability and it serves that purpose. You only get one scope probe with the unit, so to use the second channel, (more fiddling with buttons to activate) you will need to buy another. I felt that this was a bit mean as the included probe was a low cost item.So if you are thinking of buying your first scope I would recommend a bench scope as they are easier to learn on as they have more individual controls linked to functions with less button pressing through menus, and they could even be cheaper, but if you need something portable that runs off a rechargeable battery then this could be the answer.I am looking forward to being able to use this as my second DVM but also as a portable, go anywhere scope. Writing this has reminded me to down load the software to see what it adds.

Great piece of portable test equipment
I found this quite intuitive to use. The com intaion of an oscilloscope with a sensible bandwidth, a multimeter and a function generator makes for a very useful item of portable test equipment.

Very convenient multitool
I really like the versatility of it. It does everything I need a multimeter to do, everything I need a portable oscilloscope to do, and everything I need a function generator to do. The carry bag is also great, and this ends up being what is always on hand.I find myself using the multimeter functions a lot. It's not a Fluke, but it is more versatile and more likely to be the tool I actually carry with me, the DMM part is more adapted to electronics as opposed to electrician work, the display is very readable, it is technically-but-with-cut-corners CAT III, and it does everything I need a DMM to do. And you can have the signal generator running in the background while using it as a DMM or oscilloscope, which makes it useful to probe or power a circuit with various signals to see its response.Since this easily ends up being a goto tool, if future versions of this come out, I'd love to see the DMM get further improvements since it ends up getting frequent use, like a faster update speed on the voltmeter, better DMM probes, and maybe automatic ranging (it currently warns you or just shows no signal if you have the probes in the wrong port though). The oscilloscope part is already excellent. As far as the user experience goes, I do find myself missing the tunable knobs of a benchtop oscilloscope and the nested menus can be a bit annoying, but it turns on instantly and is very responsive. If you've navigated to the screen you want, it will return to that screen later.

Très précis et stable !
Le seul regret est l'autonomie en mode oscilloscope qui reste perfectible mais pas handicapante.Un Must !
