At first it was working well and warming up the room quite quickly. After 6 weeks the fan started to make a strange noise. A technician told me that the fan got loose. In fact, the metal plate behind the ball race (see attached photo) had come loose and it had to be repaired. When I contacted the seller, he told me to contact a third party. When I contacted the third party he told me to contact the seller. I had no reply from either of them. This is the kind of service and product I got for Stg120!!

First Touch failed within 3 months. Refunded. Thinking this was a one off issue reordered replacement late Jan 2020. Used until the Spring and then it was off for the summer. Switched on around November and used only when bathroom was in use and it was cold first thing in the morning.However, today 17th March failed. All lights and setting unchanged. Standby light is on and when temperature level activates unit light goes red - the heater should be working. Nothing. Followed all troubleshooting guidance in the manual. Nothing.Now outside warrentee.Will not be buying another.

I was looking for thermostacally controlled bathroom heater but they seem as common as hens teeth. This has a user programmed thermostat as well as 24 timer segments. It also senses movement and reduces the set temp by 3 degrees if no one is around for a while. Once you get the hang of it it’s very simple to use. The fan is much quieter than othe fan heaters/ bathroom fans we have had before. I think it’s great! Hint in fitting. Drill the 2 horizontal hole fit screws and temporarily hang the unit to mark the bottom hole.
