Cobs Can!: Training and Riding the Versatile Cob
V**A
I am a convert
Having ridden Thoroughbreds, Arabs, Warmbloods and their crosses for over 65 yars, I now have a lightweight cob as my friend and partner. This came about partly through reading this book., partly from wanting a driving turnout again after a break of fifteen years. I still find that my usual training methods are mainly the most successful for Pollyanya and myself, but still enjoy refering to the well written and explained instructions and beautiful pictures within the pages. As a dressage judge, I love to see a heavy cob powering down the centre line main tail and feathers flying. Cob owners - have a go and you do not need to ride a cob in order to enjoy this book. They certainly can
This book provides great insight into the natural ability of cobs, the exercises are described very well and are easy to follow. My cob and my riding have benefitted from reading this book and it explodes all the myths about what they can and can't do.
