This solar powered light was bought for £6.26 late PM of 12/10/2016 including free delivery.3 /. The light consists of two (2) parts. The goldfish bowl shaped ceramic body and a teapot type top (without a handle)4 /. Lightweight material with a stable base makes locating to a desired, decorative and safe position easy.4 / The light has no instructions with it but use is so simple, none are needed.5 /. The "lid" matches the colour of the body and simply sits into the pre shaped top just like the lid of a teapot.6 /. There is a small black switch that moves from off to on, (no other choice) on the underside of the lid.7 /. Turning on powers up the bulbs on the underside (near the switch)8 /. The bulb changes colour in a sequence, reflecting light down and outward and thus through the pre cut multitude of holes in the ceramic bowl. The light is quite dim but certainly enough for the colour sequence to be visible and pass through to reflect on surfaces immediately surrounding the bowl.10 /. The sensor switches of the bulb / colour activity very quickly in the presence of another light source.12 /. This is a very nice little lamp which would reassure those that do not want total darkness but who, in turn, wish to avoid an intrusive light such as the way in which even very dull white light can intrude.13 /. Sold at a very good price with super fast delivery, two things deter the fifth star for review.a/ the light is very dull, just a bit more power, a second bulb perhaps would turn good into excellent.b/. EFFECTIVELY linked to "a" above, a slightly bigger solar feed for longer battery power.14 /. As alluded to above, the light does not wholly rely on solar to power. Loved this item and bought for family and friends for Christmas presents. But as no information came with them, so I had to print out description from Web site. Would be helpful if sellers supplied this info with the item.

Am delighted with this company as the on/off switch was faulty so got in touch and without hesitation another was sent within the week. Was so impressed I ordered another one as well. The lights are really nice.

Sorry but this product has lasted for a very short time, firstly the light sensor didn't work and therefore any attempt to recharge the battery meant that the lights stayed on all the time until the battery went flat and now the red wire has come off its housing on the switch. It would be great to get just a replacement solar light fitting separately without the ceramic bowl?

Looks good but it isn't weatherproof (I used silicon to seal it but then the switch is only accessible through a hole. Looks good but it's not the best for charging and duration

Very classy. It is just a lovely pretty vase during the day and at night so relaxing. I would recommend these to everyone

Never worked not good on and off switch

Pruchased as a gift, maybe slightly smaller than expected but overall very nice. Works more importantly and looks good. Recipient likes it so much doesn't want it in garden it sits on frontroom window sill!! 😀
