This is a fraction of the cost of the brand name for my fridge. As far as I can tell the water tastes good and clean and we like it better than our tap water

The filter fit well, was half the price as fridgedaire filter. My only question is the first few cubes were black. I will wait w an empty bucket to see if it clears up.Edit-After a day or so of running, the cubes were back to normal. :)
