Underdome Door Bell In White Case - Battery Operated

Not Made by Friedland. Bell does not ring, Rubbish. If I wanted a Acel door bell I would have ordered one.Complete and utter waste of my time.Surely this breaking trading standards?

If you install it with the bell at the bottom, as in photos, and the batteries leak, the gunge drips into the works and corrodes them. I _think_ I’ve fixed it, but am going to look for a replacement (probably a genuine Friedland part).As a bell, works fine!

Old fashioned style bell that works when the button is pushed! Requires wiring, easy enough.No more going to the door after false ring issues from wireless bells that operate when your neighbour has a similar device.Cheap and reliable.just the job.

The bell casing didn't fit and wouldn't therefore ring. I put my old (similar) casing from my failed unit (over twenty years old) on and it worked perfectly. Hence I didn't return the item.

Its a good old fashion door bell, remember if you locate a long way from the door you will need a transformer to power it not batteries

Looks cheap so I made a slatted wooden fascia.

Works perfectly well. The sound is also loud enough. Have just started using it for two weeks now.
