very very good, great reception
very very good. Easy to install, fantastic reception, had nothing at all before. you will need to buy some of the f-plugs as you need quite a few and the unit doesn’t come with any.you get two units. one goes in the loft (or close to the aerial) and has one aerial input and 4 outputs which can go via other cables to various parts of the house. signal from all 4 is strong. i didn’t need to adjust the attenuation.inside, near the tv, i plugged in the second box to the mains and put a cable from it to my wall aerial socket and another cable to the back of my tv. the dc voltage from the downstairs box traveled to the loft and enabled the amplifier.i leave it plugged in all the time, it’s silent and inconspicuous. it’s shame it’s black and you can’t get it in white because it’s screwed onto my wall and my wall is not black!good amplifier, excellent signal, highly recommended

I stay in a bungalow in low lying area that gets terrible TV reception
Wolsey WFAV 425 LTE 4 Way Variable Gain Masthead Amplifier with Power Supply Kit - Black I'm not really a reviewing kind of guy despite having purchased literally hundreds of items from amazon this is my first review but I hope it might help anyone in a similar predicament with their TV signal.I stay in a bungalow in low lying area that gets terrible TV reception. I have a decent aerial pointing toward the nearest transmitter but reception was rubbish even using a signal amplifying box behind the TV. I did a little research and found out about masthead amplifiers. The idea is the box is mounted on or close to the aerial mast. The coax from the aerial goes into the input of the box and the TV is connected up to one of the outputs, this particular model has 4 outputs. The unit is powered by connecting the supplied power supply to one of the outputs but you don't lose the use of the output for a TV because the power supply has a TV output on it. There is also a variable gain control so you adjust for the optimum signal, I didn't need to touch this. The box and power supply feel very good quality and are simple to fit, all you need is a few F connectors (not supplied) and the required amount of coax (not supplied).I am totally delighted with the quality of picture on the 2 TVs I have it connected up to at the moment and do not feel I am exaggerating when I say this product has changed my life for the better.

Good signal amplifier / limited mounting options
Firstly, the amplifier works perfectly. Once I had mounted it in the loft, near to the base of the antenna, and connected all the rooms to the outputs, I just had to plug in the power supply in one of the supplied-rooms and TVs in all rooms fired-up with good quality signal.Mounting it was a bit tricky though. I think it's intended for you to lash it around an antenna mounting pole but I wanted to screw through the case into one of the loft joists. It's possible, you just have to take the amplifier out of the case, screw through the box, and reinsert the amplifier. It doesn't seem as though this was an intended mounting option though, so reinserting the amplifier was tricky but now that it's in, it is a neat installation that works as intended.

Tough and reliable and does the job
Had one of these for 10 years and when the signal failed thought it was the amp, so bought a new one. Discovered there was nothing wrong with the old one so returned the new one. Excellent amp and very robust has been operating in a marine environment all its life.

No longer working as intended
Edit: The powered unit has now failed in less than 2 years and no longer sends a current up to the splitter in the loft.Warranty is only a year so its expensive for something that won't last long.Would avoid and suggest labgear from here or the likes of screwfix.

Easy to install and great signal
Once on the roof this was simple to install and am amazed at the quality of the signal. Better than the previous one I had when moving into the house. Have now put aeriel sockets in my bedrooms as well

Perfect for me
Direct replacement for an older model so just slotted in. Picture quality is great and really boosts the signal. I needed a signal booster for the area I live in and having a loft aerial. As I'd already had the same model then it was easy to install by unplugging and plugging this new one in.
