After a long time of struggling with players that are simply annoying, this one does everything easily. And I'm overly picky. All DVD regions, all Blue Ray regions (not UHD though but that's way more cash), WiFi, small, quiet when playing a disc, no bright operation LED, good value too. The best thing as being a Sony it plays a disc from where you left off, and that is the clincher. Worth every penny. Nice work Sony.

Great little unit works well with brilliant picture quality on all DVDs easy to install and operate.

After ditching my dvd combi tv that packed up. I had to buy a new tv with a separate dvd player. I first bought a cheap Sony dvd player, but that was awful. The next I bought an LG dvd player which was exactly like the Sony I bought before. I then went to buy a majority one, which was alright. But the remote control was awful and knew that would pack up. So in the end I bought this dvd player. Easy to set up. The remote is easy to use and the picture is great when playing dvd’s. So hopefully after the forth attempt this hopefully is the one for me ! Just goes to show spend a bit more and you get more

Quite happy with this little unit until it stopped working for no apparent reason. It will now only play region 1 DVDS and my apps have disappeared. The fix may very well be simple but I'm a borderline luddite and have no idea how. There is no obvious way to reset to the settings it was bought with. Any ideas on how to remedy would be appreciated.
