Gablemere Greenhurst Set of Three Weatherproof Metal Cat Scarers

I bought the Greenhurst cat scarers in unison with the Frostfire solar powered battery operated ultrasonic pest repeller . It has been 6 weeks approx since I placed these in my garden.I used to get the neighbours cats pay my lawn a visit numerous occasions during the night throughout the week so it is with great pleasure I can report only two instances in those 6 weeks that I have found their mess behind. Conclusion is that I am very happy with this purchase as it has solved such an irritating problem.

Wasn't sure if these would work, but was getting fed up with the little deposits the visitors were leaving. Couldn't let my children go outside until I had done a sweep of the garden. So I put these near the places they normally get in. I have had one cat in the garden, but he soon went over the fence. No more little deposits to clear up. Don't know if it's a coinsidence, but they seem to be dong their job.

Very good product, good value and fast delivery. I was having a problem with one particular cat. The cat has been seen but less frequently so up to now they have been reasonably successful. The cat in question is very street wise so in this particular case I am pleasantly surprised. I'm glad I bought them.

Bought these in conjunction with the ultrasonic solar scarers and they work better than expected.I put one behind the shed where the cats used to cut through between gardens and used it as a toilet.When I saw the neighbour's cat cut through, I was curious to see if it worked, so crept round and was surprised to see it in a crouching position transfixed by the silhouette - it was obviously spooked or trying to figure out what it was. I clapped my hands and it leapt nearly three foot straight over it and bolted through the hedge. Was worth spending the money to see that alone!

Upon receipt of product I was very hopeful of positive outcome as the product was well made and allowed for 3 different outline shapes of cats - however in reality the product was not a success !! Not only were cats not invading our garden the cheeky beggars were actually seen approaching the products and sniffing around them and pawing their outline with no fear apparent - I would suggest product is useful if you want to have a cat style " garden gnome" otherwise no benefit to scaring mutts from borders.

Only put these out Yesterday & already someone's damn cat has Sh*** on my Lawn seems cats do not care about these or anything else you try .I have even tried the powder that swears to keep them away but sadly doesn't work either. I wonder what tests are actually done with all these so called cat repellents that are on the Market costing people pounds to buy yet do not deter cats .My lawn has only been down 2 weeks brand new turf & already cats have ruined it

Bought these for my mum's garden to keep away next door's cats. from the moment i set them in the garden I noticed one cat appear, walked to one of them and swiped it in the head only to find it was not a real cat. Since then, he has returned to the garden on a daily basis to sit next to one of them, so on the whole I don't think they work at all, he loves them so much he can sit there all day.

They don't claim to scare off birds, and the don't. But they do claim to scare off rodents but we have a squirrel that digs up our lawn (and a squirrel is a member of the Sciuridae family which are rodents). Our 'friendly' squirrel came and checked them out and then ignored them!!! I gave it two stars as they look quite nice on the lawn as ornaments, but that's all!
