Clarks Women's Ankle Strap Athletic Sandals

I purchased these sandals for my 11-year-old daughter in her usual size, a women’s size 5, and they fit true to size. She has very narrow feet, so finding sandals that fit securely without rubbing or feeling loose can be difficult. These fit her really well right out of the box. We originally had them shipped to Orlando because she needed them for a cheerleading competition and several days at the theme parks. She wore them for long days of walking through the parks, and every evening she commented on how comfortable they were. She never complained about sore feet, blisters, or wanting to change into different shoes, which honestly surprised me considering how many miles we walked each day. It has now been about two months, and they are still one of her favorite pairs of shoes. She is currently wearing them on a trip to Mexico, where she has been walking around town and sightseeing for hours every day. Once again, she keeps telling me how comfortable they are. They have been a great travel shoe because she can wear them all day without her feet hurting. The sandals have also held up really well. The straps are still secure, the cushioning still feels supportive, and they still look great despite being worn frequently. I have been very happy with how well they have maintained their quality. If you’re looking for comfortable sandals for a child or tween, especially for vacations, amusement parks, or anywhere they will be walking a lot, I highly recommend these. They fit true to size, worked wonderfully for my daughter’s narrow feet, and have been comfortable from the first day she wore them. I would absolutely buy them again.

If I could give these sandals 10 stars, I definitely would. I have been wearing Clark shoes since I was a kid in England. I find most styles to be comfortable and good quality. These surpass any sandal for comfort and wearability. I am older, and most shoes become uncomfortable after a short while. I recently attended my grandson’s Navy graduation and walked far more than usual. These shoes were comfortable from early morning until late evening. They look dressy enough for wearing with a dress, and casual enough for capris. The soles are cushioned, and the uppers are fabric with nothing that rubs or binds. I own both black and navy blue, and I wish they came in more colors. Fits true to size.

These are SO comfortable! I order extra wide when I can, but these are regular wide. I figured the fabric would be comfortable and I was right. The toe straps are open perfectly to accommodate bunions. On top of all that, they’re cute.

I need walking shoes with cushion under the toes. These definitely provided. I don't usually want straps but these are easy to put on and easy to wear. One small issue is that the heel is a bit high and if the strap is not very tight my foot can tip sideways. A little more stability would be nice, especially since I don't like tight straps. But overall these work for me and I'm glad to have them. They're not high fashion but good enough looking. I wish I could find a closed shoe for winter with similar cushion under the toes. All of the cushioning seems to be in the heel for most walking shoes. Some of us oldsters have bony toes so in most walking shoes my toes feel like I'm walking on pebbles. Revising review after using for awhile. When I first start out walking the back strap always rubs the back of my heel for a while. I find that I don't spontaneously reach for these shoes. I remind myself I should use them. If they were really great I don't think I would be doing that.

Super comfortable! I'm very picky with sandals, but these are great. They provide enough cushion that I can walk throughout the day in them without my feet aching and the straps are soft and don't rub or cause blisters. Also, since they strap around the ankle I don't find myself clenching my toes to keep them in place like with flip-flops. They are also pretty versatile. I even wore them to a work event. It was the most comfortable I've ever been at an all day meeting before. I also haven't noticed any problem with overheating wearing them on hot days.

Cloudsteppers Clarks are Clarks for comfort and regular Clarks are for style?? I have the exact same one in regular Clarks and can't see any differnece in style or fit and these are a lot less $$. win win difference in durability?? Looks like same materials to me. I think these look really nice on. Fit true to size with a good arch and a cushion sole. Perfect for my arthritic feet. I've loved Clarks and now I'm all in on Cloudsteppers. I spray them with a fabric protector but says they can be machine washed. I've machine washed sneakers with great results. These are stamped CLark Cloudsteppers.

I am about a year out from an achilles tendon repair surgery. I am a true 8W in shoes. Size 8 1/2 average width shoes do not fit my feet. It is incredibly difficult for me to find well fitting sandals. To complicate things, I have nerve damage from the surgery and my foot and ankle constantly feels tingly and is sensitive to touch. I am going on a trip and wanted something that I can wear safely around the pool. The shoe fits perfectly. I cried over these shoes. The straps are soft and the ankle strap is just loose enough to not anger the ankle nerves. And they are adorable. The pictures do not do them justice. I haven't walked in them for a distance ( I am working on regaining my endurance and ability to walk distance post surgery), and haven't worn them all day (yet) but so far they are super comfortable.

The only Clark’s I’ve been disappointed with, womp womp. Pros: they are perfectly cute and don’t look clunky with a summer dress. The insoles are comfortable, as you would expect. Cons: the positioning of the strap makes it rub against the top of my foot ever-so-slightly. The part of the strap causing the friction is where the material comes together with stitching. So, while the material is soft, it’s that seam and stitching that irritates my foot with every movement. Such a bummer. Every foot is different though, so maybe this won’t be a problem for you.

Absolutely love these sandals! They’re so stylish, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. As someone with plantar fasciitis, I’m especially impressed with how comfortable they are for walking. And the price is amazing for the quality. Definitely a great buy!
