Brilliant, bought as a quick gift to keep my grandson occupied during a visit. As with most of these type of gifts, lots of plastic packaging to make it look presentable. My grandson loved it.

Purchased for Christmas for my grandson (on behalf of Father Christmas). It was fun just watching him - first he was a little baffled, then surprised by the magnets and awe struck by the constructions (with a little help).

Good quality but has a design flaw.
I have bought several Magmagic sets for my 4yo twin daughters. I think they are quite expensive for what they are, but are of good quality. The plastic pieces are brightly colored, magnets are strong, looks like they are really build to last.With this set however I have a problem with the stand on which rotating wheel is placed. You need to 'click' 2 plastic pillars into purple oval base. You can insert them easily, but to get them back takes a LOT of efforts. I was not able to do it with my fingers and had to resort to using teaspoon handles (using something sharp will risk damaging anchor points). Definitely children cannot do it by themselves without breaking the piece. I think doing so frequently likely will result in damage to stand.You can leave the whole stand assembled permanently, but then you risk that plastic pillars will get snapped off accidentally, or some other pieces would be lost not to mention cluttering of the children's room.So I think, unless I am very careful, this bit of the set will not last -- not what I would expect from such expensive item.

Our 5 year old Grandson loves these magnetic blocks. Already he has had hours of fun building with them. Excellent and educational.

My sons love this set and have had a lot of play from it since Christmas. I like that it's interchangeable with other sets so we may well expand our collection at some point soon.Initially it was difficult to assemble the center of the ferris wheel but it has become easier with use, your kids will probably need help with this when they first open it.
