I actually use only the blue light for my work desk back glow, a cactus, and my betta fish, both on the desk as well. It looks amazing, and the actual function is just as good. The timer is pretty accurate, and a huge help for the fish who is a lot happier and one of the most active fish I have now. The blue light is making the cactus a much deeper green as well. can’t expect much flowering with the red turned off. But it’s keeping my little office scape very healthy, and happy.

I've a shaded room which gets no direct sunlight. My plants are doing well with this light and they've got new leaves coming. I love how the poles are bendable so the lights can be moved around in any direction. I use the timer for 9 hours and it turns off automatically. But it doesn't always turn on by itself. I've to manually turn it on. I wish the timer feature was more reliable.

My plants have boomed in growth since using it. I had all my plants in a shop where I used to work. I ended up quiting and I didn't have a spot inside away from pets for about 2 and a half weeks in the tail end of winter. Cold weather and tons of rain made them fall sick and limp. I had to prune a lot of what I think is a spider plant. That one was probably the worst condition. But she's coming around. I also have 2 vicks plants that went limp and sad and I had to install some splints for them in about week they were strong enough to remove the splints.The timer works. I don't know how it works exactly but it goes on and off when I need it too. I think it does reset the timing stuff if u unplugg it tho.I do think the ac adapter needs a new design. The USB port to plug into the adapter itself is right on top and it looks ugly, warps the cord, not discrete. The cord is also pretty short too. I'd love it to be about a foot or so longer.

I bought this product in June, and the timing feature has never worked. I can always turn the timer on, it’ll remain on for the duration assigned, but it will not turn back on again the next day. The light itself is wonderful, but manually turning it on everyday defeats the purpose of the timing feature. I’ve read the manual, and did everything I could thinking I just didn’t know how to work it, but I’ve come to the conclusion that my light is faulty ):I’ll keep turning it on manually for the sake of my plants, but I can’t deny that I’m a little let down.

I love it! The light looks brighter in picture. There’s several setting of brightness and the color of lighting can be blue, purple or red.

Realized I was avoiding returning to my on-site office and hesitated bringing plants to brighten the space b/c of the lack of natural light - but this light is great! plants are very happy after over 2 months and is a room with no windows, timer is reliable when I'm gone for days at a time and the soft glow is actually really nice - this and a desk lamp and I don't turn on the overhead fluorescent at all anymore
