Arrived, very well packaged. I opened it and yes there was a chemical smell but I left it to air on the bed and flatten out for a few hours. It is lovely and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I suffer with joint pain and since having the topper have started to feel the benefits. It fits the bed well and with a fitted sheet doesn't slide off, if you are worried about it sliding I would recommend that you buy some anti slip rubber to put between the mattress and the topper

It arrived this morning around half past 9 and I'd only ordered it yesterday!It's so comfy I cant wait to go to bed tonight!I gave it four stars because I haven't yet used it and I'm not sure about it's durability, but apart from that It looks perfect!

my only gripe is that is a tad smaller than our actual mattress despite stating its for a 4ft 6in double bed. This means it does move and we are forever moving it back into position when making the bed the next day. However it is comfortable. I would however not buy another one based on that! So i would in future look for another make and would not recommend

The two stars I've given are for comfort...this is a very comfortable topper. It does take a while to soften but it is lovely to sleep on. It has really helped my back problems and I do sleep better. So, why only two stars? The smell. I have had the topper for 2 months and it still smells. I've resorted to wrapping it in several layers of protective covers to lessen it, but the smell is still noticeable when I walk into my bedroom. Before I put it on my bed, I aired it for a week...inside and outside...hoping for the smell to go, but it didn't. I've kept it as comfort wins over the awful smell for me, but it is something to be aware of.

This item was terrible! I have never been more uncomfortable in all my life. I bought it for my bad back and it did not help me get a good night sleep, in fact it made it worse! Not only is it really soft, so not supportive in the leAst, but I woke up every night for 3 weeks literally dripping in sweat! £140 down the drain. I am not happy and thoroughly disappointed with its advertising, which I feel is very misleading.

This memory foam topper is a must for anyone suffering from arthritis or joint problems. I bought one for myself last year from Memory Foam Warehouse - I couldn't be without it, so I when mum came out of hospital having fallen and broke her hip, I immediately bought one for her. She loves it!Previously mum had been reluctant to buy a foam topper because she was worried it might make her hot in bed; she was pleasantly surprised when she used hers, the cool cover makes a real difference.I note the comments regarding the initial odour from the foam, yes there is a slight odour when it's first unpacked, but it only lasts a day. The short term odour is a very small price to pay for long term comfort.

My old topper was not memory foam, and it was all lumpy. With this one at last I REST every night.... I get up feeling like I've slept, and I don't have aches everywhere. On that, I'm very happy. It doesn't feel warm for us, nor we sink down the foam. It rebounds quite nicely.Also, it didn't have any smell whatsoever and we could sleep on it since the first day.This doesn't have 5 stars from me because of 2 things.1) I sent an email to the vendor asking for advice if to buy a 3" topper or a 2" one, and I provided tons of information. I am totally aware the vendor has a website and salespersons on the phone, but I did not want to be contacted on the phone. The answer I got was, give me your phone and I'll get someone to call you.Customer service tip = if your customer asks you a question on a channel, don't disregard the channel. Providing alternatives is good, but it is the customer's choice which channel to use.I went to the website to chat online with an agent after seeing the response. The agent didn't know how to answer my questions either and she just told me yeah just go for that one you've thought. I didn't really felt reassured that this was what we needed, but thankfully we're happy with the purchase.2) The cover the product came in is nice BUT it doesn't fit a standard double bed, just a small one. The topper itself is the right size, so getting it inside the cover is tricky AND will prevent the topper to expand to the full double bed size, so mine is missing a chunk. Not a big deal, as it is not a big chunk, but it is annoying.

This product is fantastic!!! Can't begin the praise the topper. I was expecting all kinds of "baddies" but said no matter what I would give it a try, better than constant back pain IF it works. Guess what, no more back pain!! Absolutely marvellous! No horrible smells, no extra heat (got the Coolmax cover of course). I'm delighted to say. Pain back BANISHED, you've got to try it!!!! Works for me, luv it WELL DONE *****
