BrummerYellow Label Interior Stopping Small Light Oak

Used Brummer's for 30 years or so. A bit expensive but what price your time and getting the best finish. From day one all those year ago, I have had only had one gripe viz, the small tin lid and the difficultly in keeping the tin lid in good shape to ensure a good seal on closing. The stuff lasts for ages but if it dries out too many times it becomes too stiff it to use and will not emulsify with water. Come on Brummer, buck-up and get wise with a plastic container and snap-lock lid please. One tip for those keen wood workers, by one tin of light oak and one tin of dark oak and by mixing you can match most every type of timber you will ever use.

The product itself is brilliant I've used it for years BUT DONT BUY IT FROM AMAZON its mindblowingly expensive!! Same thing on ebay for half the price

Completely different from the same item ordered a few months earlier. So I dont know which was ‘off’. Much lighter than previous (of same colour on tin).

Excellent quality product and service.

I recommend this product to anyone in the Carpentry or Woodworking Trade. I speak from experience as during the 1960s I worked as a French Polisher and Hand Finisher and this product was widely used by the Trade. You wont find a better Filler.

Excellent wood stopping. Great for staining. Sands really well.
