After reading reviews I found that it was helpful to buy this kit as it has larger pair that can open up enough to make up limitations in jaw opening for regular size channel locks. Super nice finish and function. The few times I used regular size I didn’t see a problem with jaw arrangement or torque needed for pipe fitting I was working on. Daily tasked jobs as a full time handyman I use these a lot. After misplacing expensive knipex set I decided these will work at more than 50% off of name brand priced similarCanvas wrap seems strong and is nice for keeping them all together in larger tool box used in auto wrecking yards. I sprayed mine with Ballistol which is slightly stinky but a super good preservative for canvas, gloves and metal tools 2nd amendment items etc

I'm loving how these perform. Nearly the equal to Knipex. But you don't lock them up and refuse to loan them out. Certainly better than most standard waterpump pliers. A quality tool everyone can afford.

The material of the product seemed legit, until i used the medium and small pair the locking portion of them broke and came apart. i am a service plumber and used them for basic task i am not entirely sure what caused them to break. the large pair have held up good so far and have been used many times. I planned on sending them back but i knew i had waited to long and didnt feel the need to make a issue over it.

Seems to be decent quality...good enough for home use, but in a professional setting these will leave you disappointed. These are copies of the famous knipex cobra pliers, and the saying holds true...you get what you pay for. If you're a DIY-er that doesn't want to spend the money for professional tools, you'll love these. If, however, you want the best, these don't even compare. My rating is based on the price point, for "water pump" pliers in this price range, they are very good quality, but they could be improved upon. In a couple of my pictures, you can see them next to my knipex cobra pliers. The 10" plier is going to get most of my criticism. The jaws open (pulling the handles apart) substantially less than they should, see my photo comparing this 10" plier to my knipex of the same size. It would be difficult to get this around the fastener in a hurry. Once again, this mostly matters in a professional setting and will likely not be an issue for most. In another picture I show the difference in how much adjustment there is (how wide the jaws can open to accommodate larger fasteners) once again, the knipex win pretty easily. You'll have to decide if those are deal breakers for you or not. As far as function, they work well and hold on tight due to the design. Time will tell if they hold up to wear and tear. I'll update if anything changes or tool life is less that expected.
