Pre-order ACOTAR 6 for 27th October 26, and ACOTAR 7 for 12th January 27. ‘One of the best fantasy book series of the past decade’ TIME From the #1 bestselling author of A Court of Thorns and Roses, Crown of Midnight is the second book in the epic, bestselling fantasy series that returns readers to a land destroyed by liars, where one woman’s truth is the only thing that can save them all. Never trust an assassin. Celaena’s story continues in this second book in the #1 bestselling Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. Celaena Sardothien won a brutal contest to become the King’s Champion. But she is far from loyal to the crown. Though she goes to great lengths to hide her secret, her deadly charade becomes more difficult when she realises she is not the only one seeking justice. Her search for answers ensnares those closest to her, and no one is safe from suspicion ― not the Crown Prince Dorian; not Chaol, the Captain of the Guard; not even her best friend, Nehemia, a princess with a rebel heart. Then, one terrible night, the secrets they have all been keeping lead to an unspeakable tragedy. As Celaena’s world shatters, she will be forced to decide once and for all where her true loyalties lie ... and what she is willing to fight for. A thrilling sequel to the TOG series
Calaena has won the competition and now is the King's Champion but she is far away from being loyal to the throne. The book takes off from Calaena's assignment to assasinate some noble lord.Through out the book she tries to prove her loyalty to the king while playing a very dangerous game.Relationships are formed and broken and there's betrayel annd loved one's are lost and so many secrets kept.Only to keep the one she loves safe. The friendship potrayed between Princess Nehemia and her is one of a kind. Two powerful kickass ladies bonded so strongly, what can be better than that.As the dark power looms and Calaena discovers secrets one after the another, everything threatening to destroy her ever so little hope of the world that once had been, the world she dared to hope would rise again.Dorian,Chaol,Calaena..all of them find out the truths either about themselves or the one they cannot imagine to lose. They all are playing a very dangerous game. One little hint to the King and everything will crumble to pieces. This book was such an enjoyable read. Each and every sentence writen in this book had a purpose to serve. So many twists and turns and it did manage to surprise me at times so i am highly impressed.Sarah j Mass is my favourite author and her books my favourite stories and the characters in them..my favourite people.. not all but most of them.I never related to any of the characters of any other books(even though i loved those book) like i do with characters that Sarah writes.I wish none of her series ever end.I am so glad i picked up TOG.

Amazing
Really good. One of the craziest things is revealed at the end of the story and overall the experience was great for long-time fantasy readers like me.

Beyond perfect book!
Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Mass is the second book in the Throne of Glass series. Celaena, who is the brutal king's champion comes closer to find the answers to how she lost her freedom, where the king's powers come from and what he plans to do. The book is filled with deadly secrets, shocking occurrences and spine-chilling events. Although the narrative was very slow at the start, it became intense and gripping later on. I noticed the same pattern in the first book as well. I wasn't prepared for the secrets which were revealed in this book; I was left shocked and excited when I finished reading this book. Saying anything more would mean spoiling the book..I also liked the themes in this book. Horrifying reality of slavery, the danger of excessive power and the good vs the evil occupies a major part of the book. This book shocked me and made me emotional at the same time. It is a perfect blend of all the things a book should have and I absolutely loved it ❤️

Read the series!!!!!
Crown of midnight Review!!!!4 stars!!!!!I thought Throne of Glass was a ride, but this sequel took everything to a whole new level. I went into this series a bit hesitant, but after finishing book two, I am officially a Sarah J. Maas convert.Watching Celaena navigate her role as the King’s Champion while balancing her own secrets was so intense. The stakes felt much higher this time, and the revelations about her past? I’m still processing. 😭No spoilers, but the shift in the magic system and that ending has me reaching for Heir of Fire immediately. My transition back into fantasy is going... let’s just say, very quickly.

WHOAH!!!!!
The one thing I must tell you is that....don't go reading the reviews of the next books in the series like I did because it has spoilers.....Now that I've told you that, I would like to say even though I quite knew the ending ( because of the reason mentioned above )those who did not do it , would have NEVER guessed the ending. Its the fact that, we allTHOUGHT we knew Celeana or rather knew all what Celeana knew (you'll get it when you read it) that no one expected the ending... and WHEN the ending hits you like a pan right in the face .....BAM!!!!!!!!!!! You'll be left saying WHA??? for 10 whole minutes probably thinking PHEEEEW I DID NOT see that coming....Not the best book I've read , but a good book all the same. It is so because she's different, celeanas a different kind of heroine who ALWAYS knows more than you (especially regarding herself!!!)So go ahead , buy it!!

"Before she was deadly. Now she is unstoppable."
If they wanted Adarlan’s Assassin, they’d get her.And Wryd help them when she arrived.«(Aus: Crown of Midnight, S. 215)Mit Crown of midnight schafft Autorin Sarah J. Maas einen beeindruckenden und phänomenalen zweiten Band ihrer Fantasyserie um Celaena Sardothien, welcher schon den sehr guten ersten Band der Serie, Throne of Glass, völlig in den Schatten stellt. Some things you hear with your ears. Others, you here with your heart. It was hard to care, she realized as she started the trek back to the castle.Incredibly hard to care, when you didn’t have anyone left to care about. Ganz anders kommt Crown of midnight daher.

INSAINLY FANTASTIC! BUY IT NOW!
*Sigh* this book! It was almost too much for me to handle, these emotions, such a Roller Coaster! Honestly, I hope to be as good as a writer as Sarah J. Maas someday, now that is a goal :) Her stories are SO good and gosh darn it, this book kept taking my breath away, it kept distracting me from studying (wasn’t a good idea to start a book near exams on my part heh…) Well I still did pretty good ^^! Sorry for that aside… back to Crown of Midnight.Gosh…golly… where to start? When I said this book took my breath away, it literally did. There was so much more to this back than the first, so many secrets, so many lies 0.0! My mind was blown moment after moment, literally sweeping me away in the River of Feels. For me, Crown of Midnight was so much better than Throne of Glass, even though I still enjoyed the first book. Only in this book, Celaena wasn’t looking in the mirror the whole time going over her reflection or dotting over the Prince, she was kicking some serious butt and much more assassiny. The book went from Assassins Princess to The Greatest Assassin. The Crown of Midnight picks up pace like bam! Pow! Right off the bat it grabbed me in it’s… uh claws? and dragged me into its deep plot and heart wrenching moments. Seriously, I can’t even give this book words, because there aren’t any that could describe how much I LOVED this book. Hold on… must calm… calming… deep breaths… I CAN’T HOLD IT IN ANY MORE HERE COME THE TEARS!“I worry because I care. Gods help me, I know I shouldn’t, but I do. So I will always tell you to be careful, because I will always care what happens.”Now to my serious review hah, if I can write this with out fan girling every ten two seconds.I feel like I start a ton of my reviews saying: where to start? Where to start? I guess I will start with the plot since it blew me away. Prior to actually picking this book up and reading it, I wasn’t sure if I would like it since The Throne of Glass wasn’t my favorite, gooooosh am I glad I did! When people say the Throne of Glass series just gets better and better, do they ever mean it!The plot of the Crown of Midnight is really good, really really good. The whole book starts with such an attention grabber, and everything gets better from there. As the book continued, Sarah J. Maas kept adding more twists to the story and it really began to sweep me away. With every turn of the page, every end of the chapter, it all begged to be read. This book had it all, the emotions, the climax, the heart pounding moments…The characters were as stunning as ever. I still adore Dorian but found Chaol and Celaena cute as ever! Those two, I swear! Really, the characters were all taken to a whole new level, with such wonderful personalities (uh depending on who, I’m looking at you the King >_>) each one with their own distinct mind. What is even better is that the rotating chapters and ever-present love triangle don’t hurt the story ONE BIT! Yeah, I mention the love triangle in every review but Sarah J. Maas wove it in PERFECTLY into this story, and it felt right. The love in the book felt like it belonged, like the characters had made their way up to it and love at first sight was no existent, *swoons*. Honestly, I love uh… love in books :) as long as it isn’t over the top or just plain in the way :P!“It was like coming home or being born or suddenly finding an entire half of herself that had been missing.”Could the bad guys get more bad? Uh, yes and they really did! Throne of Glass had some of the evilest villains I can think of, but the Crown of Midnight? They went to a whole new level, the threat is there. It is best to mention that this book did have gore like the first book did, and I would say about the same amount. It’s not like the book is littered with blood, it’s just there so fair warning :)“To escape death, she’d become death”And the ending? I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! Cue the evil laughter >:D mwhaha… this was fantastic! Honestly, the ending made me want to run in circles and cry or something, it was mind blowing!
