LEFT BEHIND: RISE OF THE ANTICHRIST/BD

I don't usually review movies or books unless I have an honest and good thought about it. I have read all of the original books, all of the kid series of books, seen all of the other movies, and even the new ones. The movies that have been made have never really taken off and it's sad due to the books being amazing. What a lot of people fail to see is that while this is a fictional story, the message is real and the verses and facts they talk about within are real-life things. As for the movie, I think that it summarizes the first two books and a little of the third quite well for someone that has never read the books or seen the other movies. I will say there are some narrative and detail mismatches but as with a lot of book-to-movie renditions, this is to be expected. I will say that I get it, COVID is a natural part of our existence in the modern day, HOWEVER, you don't need to inject it into everything made after 2020. I am seeing so many movies and shows and newer books talk about grand pandemics and some use COVID. STOP DOING THIS! We come to books, movies, and shows to escape our reality, but this is lost on a lot of creators today because apparently, COVID is popular in death as it is when it was alive. Overall, I enjoyed the movie, I think they captured a good Nicolae and gave him the deminer that is portrayed in the books. I also liked the fact that they hit a lot of the major events in the first few books on the money and I can tell they read them! There are finer details that surround Buck and Nicolae that you would only read. There are a lot of mismatched details but like I said before that is to be expected. If the creators and director are thinking of making another one, DO IT! I have read the negative reviews and it was what I expected, people who know about this story will love it and only pick out the minor details, if you are not a follower or someone who is thinking about following Christ I would highly recommend listening to the message in this story and not focus much on the acting and minor off details. If you are closed-minded, then I would not even spend the money unless you are willing to look at the message objectively. I hope the creators and director take some of the feedback and create something we have been waiting for since the first movies.To recap: Don't skew the book details too much and focus on the character development of the tribulation force and the relationship between Nicolar and Halie, don't just do a detail or two and move on. Don't bring up COVID, sorry but no one cares and that is something in everyone's lives that we want to stay away from when we are enveloped in your story and message. Do bring in more characters that Buck and Ray meet along the way and maybe more of the kid series teens, I saw what you did here and it was great. When you get to the trials and marks, READ THE BOOKS AND DO THAT! These are important details both in the Bible and the book series, you want me to continue to see these and ask for more, every little detail counts when it comes to the specific trial details and marks of Christ and the Beast.This again is one person's opinion, someone who has read all of the books in two series, seen all the other movies, and has read the verses a few times that talk about the events. I hope this helps to make a bomb.com sequel and I will support the creation of another as long as the feedback is accepted and acknowledged! Good job overall.

This was a well written story that I found very engaging. It was well directed and acted. The movie had the feel of a high budget major studio movie which made it easy to watch and enjoy. The focus of the writing on the emotional impact to the characters and their families pulled you in on a micro/personal level while efforts to connect the story line with modern events and technologies pulled you in on a macro/overall level. The movie managed to lack any gratuitous violence or content making it a good family file for all but very young children. I would highly recommend this movie and say it is one of the better ones that has been released in the past several years. This movie is star that outshines all the recent Hollywood blockbusters.

This was really good. Kevin Sorbo... Amazing, as usual. I cannot tell you how awesome it is to know someone who came up doing Hercules and Andromeda, is a man of God on fire for doing movies like this. I pray you guys do more and continue this series. I was saddened when they stopped the original Left Behind movies after three. I hope you guys are able to go on to do the whole series. I like this version too. Made it a little more modern too. Well done. I look forward to seeing more.

I love this series, I've read it many times and seen the other movies. This was a good movie, not bad and im a fan of many of the actors but its not what I expected. This was no where close to the book series or the other movies, too many things changed.

A lot of Christian shows are super emotional and they leave you feeling like you've been gutted. This show is easy to watch and leaves you more hopeful and optimistic. And it has legitimate information in too, but that's mainly biblical scripture.

It does explain some things that are currently happening in our time however there are a lot of interpretations taken from the Bible in put into opinions. Still a decent movie would watch again on a rainy day!

I really liked this one, I was worried it be not so great since the other 3 from the 90s came out but this was a really good, I hope he makes more. Even a TV series because I know there are SO many books, but I LOVED his take on this.
