A great coverup for ivory to white
Let me start off by saying I didn’t purchase these for child proofing; don’t have children. I’m renovating a home and I’m a sticular for details. Right off I noticed I had ivory plugs and switches throughout the house with white covers. To save myself some money and a lot of time I decided to go with these and couldn’t be happier! Gives my renovation a super clean upgrade and look and hides all the mishaps from the past owners, painters etc.

Keeping one outlet per room "useable" while baby-proofing
I ordered the six pack with the idea that I might keep one outlet immediately "useable" in each room that I am baby-proofing. The outlets are well made and fit over a standard US outlet perfectly with the included spacer. They have three machined holes for screws. I have never seen a single plug outlet with more than one middle screw to secure it to the wall. The package comes with neat and tidy looking caps to cover any screw holes that you do not need. The outlet faces are held tightly to the left in the "shut" position. They are easily moved to the right with the tines of the plug you are trying to use. One sweeping motion and it's as if there was no safety cover in your way. I would buy more.

Excellent!
Yes these are more expensive than the cheap covers, but these things are SOOOO MUCH BETTER!! I had a friend recommend these to me and she wasn’t lying, these are completely worth the money. Takes just a few minutes to install but super easy to use!! I tried to vacuum this morning using one of the few outlets I chose to cover with the cheap alternative and spent 5 minutes getting the cover off. Then, had to use one of the outlets I put these guys on and it was as if it wasn’t babyproofed one bit!

Safety without sacrificing function.
I hated removing those plastic plugs from the wall each time I needed to use an outlet. However, it seems like our baby is hellbent on poking his tiny fingers into sockets. This is a great solution! It looks nice, installs easily. And the baby can't hurt himself. It saves my sanity not having to pull out and in those stupid plastic plugs. Just buy it, install it and forget about it.

Skip the plastic plugs and buy these!
I love these outlet covers. They are very attractive and so much better than those plastic plugs that my kids can take out. I never needed very much baby proofing for my oldest child, but our 1 year old is into EVERYTHING. I needed something she couldn't remove and these were perfect. These slide over very easily to plug something in for the parent but still keep little fingers out and prevent them from putting things in the outlet. I'll be ordering more.
