I like this shampoo
I use it on my own hair as well as my cat's hair. His hair especially feels so silky afterwards. The only thing I am not sure about is whyi t says Mink Oil when on the ingredient list, Mink Oil is not listed there.

Smells lovely...
This smells nice enough that I'd be happy to use it on my own hair too.Our rescue long hair Shepherd has quite sensitive skin so I only use the bare minimum of products on her in case it contains something that doesn't agree with her. With this one the manufacturer recommends that 1 part shampoo and 3 parts lukewarm water are mixed in a bottle and rubbed into the coat, left for a few minutes to work and then rinsed off. I liked that I could use it sparingly but the application method was working against us.Our dog isn't one of those that love bathtime. She hates it. We have to do it outside in the garden due to her size and keeping her in one spot long enough to douse her all over with the mix we had made up in a bottle was next to impossible and most of it went on the ground and over me. Asking her to wait a couple of minutes to let it work into her coat was never an option either as she just won't stand still and ends up rolling around on the grass as soon as she feels our grip loosen. I like shampoo's that I can put a little bit straight on to the coat to lather up and rinse off immediately and have it be over as quickly as possible. She likes it better that way too, presumably.The shampoo smells lovely and a little goes a long way but for our bath-phobic dog it just isn't what we need. If your dog will stand still long enough to leave this in it's coat for a few minutes before rinsing then it might work for you but it's not for us.
