I bought this practice book as a present and have been informed that it is most useful. There are not 50 pieces in the book as it is part of a set of two. The other part which I also bought, again is recommended.

This book is great fun - have it for saxophone too - studies written in different styles and moods...a far cry from boring exercises.

This was a present for my sister and she loves it.

Book 1 is fabulous and tuneful and is well used for music grades with my pupils. My students don't enjoy book 2 at all.
