Holy Octopus, Batman
This is quite striking. The color of the glaze reminds me of examples of Japanese pottery I have seen. "Slate blue" would be a possible name for this color, but I find that it really defies classification. It changes the more I look at it. This is a large mug, and I almost never fill it up with coffee, since I have trouble drinking even half a mug before it grows cold. It feels good in my hand, and the wider bottom makes it stable.

Fantastic Mug From Wonderful People
The mug arrived and my wife absolutely loves it. Beautiful, well made, and instantly became her go-to. It was packaged extremely well to make sure it made the journey without a scratch. In addition, JR and Kristen sent a very nice handwritten thank you along with it.

Perfect display of artist talent
Absolutely beautiful mug, I collect octupus decor and handmade pottery. This is amazing on both fronts. This mug holds about what I would call 2 cups of coffee at a time. I love that, the artistry is wonderful, this is true talent to create a large functional mug that is not extremely heavy.I will be ordering a second one very soon.
