This is my 3rd jar of this little beauty of a face wash! It's very different to what I usually (and most people I imagine) have used in the past. But since going vegan and being aware of what I put onto my body as well as in it - I found this. I have tried many natural face washes and they were unsuccessful and just didn't work on my skin. I have combination skin... Although, right now in the winter, it does get quite dry. This 'Super Cleanser' really does make my skin feel so clean with no icky feeling afterwards. It feels light and refreshes and also smells of just pure YUMMINESS, if you're a fan of banana's anyway :)My only con (hence why I didn't give this product a full 5 stars) is sometimes, if I use too much OR it tends to be when I rinse my face with warm/hot water (the directions do state to rinse with cold water)... when my face dries off, I get little bits (i'm assuming it is the almond flour and the warm water softens it) mostly around the bottom of my chin area, they stick to the little soft invisible hairs on my face and I have to pick them off. I live in Scotland and it's minus here right now, so putting ice cold water on my face every morning and night is definitely not a positive thing, even if it does startle you awake in the morning. However, I have found a temperature that means this doesn't happen anymore. Maybe I put too much on my face?! You only need a little bit after all!Overall, an excellent product!!!! I do love Pure Chimps morals as a company too :)NOTE: The consistency is almost like a paste... it's kind of fun getting used to it and almost feels like you are putting plain dirt on your face BUT SMELLS GREAT & DEEP CLEANS YOUR PORES.I love being vegan :) Also.... CRUELTY FREE is wonderful isn't it :)

I get spots and blackheads pretty bad, my skin is also very oily and sensitive. I've used this for a few days now, with the face oil, and my skin has cleared up so well. My complexion looks good my skin feels softer, and not oily. I love the smell, reminds me of the pick n mix banana sweets I used to buy as a child. It was a bit difficult to use at first. I'm used to soaps that lather quickly, but I found that if you take a small amount in the palm of your hand with a couple of drops of water, leave it to soak for about 10 seconds, then mix it together, it works great! Highly recommend! The jar is smaller than expected, but a little goes a long way. Also, because the jar is glass and reusable, i will be able to use it as a travel container for other products in the future. I will be buying this again.

Great cleanser and completely natural! I have had persistent adult acne most of my adult life and this stuff really makes a difference. I won't say its a cure because I do get the odd spot here and there but honestly, they're diddy compared to the big cystic spots I used to get. My face feels smooth and clean once used as the texture after making into a paste acts almost like an exfoliant. I also have an oily skin type and the oils in this product do not make my skin anymore so, in fact I would say that it has made a slight improvement, my face stays oil free for longer. The smell is fabulous, like banana milkshake! I only give this product 4 stars as the pot is rather small. I wash my face twice a day so end up using up the contents in just over 2 weeks, I have noted that other reviews state that theirs lasts over a month but I wear make up almost 7 days a week so I use a marble sized amount on every wash to make sure I cut through my foundation. All in all this is a great product for those who want to cut back on products full of chemicals that can have a major effect on sensitive skin or those who are interested in being a little kinder to the planet. Its also pretty sweet that some on the proceeds go to charity!

I bought this to replace my regular cleanser - angels on bare skin from lush, as everything on their website is sold out. I have to say I think pure chimp might completely replace it!!! It smells beautifully banana-y, gives my face a good clean but most importantly has me GLOWING even during lockdown haha. I couldn't say enough wonderful things about this cleanser, I've got sensitive skin so it can be quite hard for me to find cleansers that don't leave little itchy/red splotches on my face. Pure chimp has never made my skin red and actually makes it so soft and moisturised. Guys, I can't say enough good things about this cleanser, if you, like me, weigh a lot of importance on natural ingredients, then look no further. It lasts for a while and for what it is, it's amazingly priced! Don't deprive your face!!

The product has the consistency of a thicker scrub. It doesn't wash well the face but you might like it as a scrub if you have a sensitive skin. The only way it removes the dirt is by scrubbing it away. I do not recommend it to people with combination skin/ oily skin, as it does not do what you expect. It' s basically rubbing your face with grounded almond: it smells good, it does scrub but it does not clean at all. As a consequence, it does not remove make up either.Overall I think the concept of a natural scrub is lovely but it wasn't doing what it was supposed to do: wash your face .

I was looking for a 100% natural face wash. We're constantly looking for face wash that "helps with this" and "helps with that", but the truth is that you're constantly putting chemicals on your face (which then goes into your bloodstream) and your face actually can get irritated by all of this.So, I was extremely happy to find a wash which is 100% natural and made in the UK, and in a glass jar! I feel guilt free putting it on my face and to add to that it actually helped with redness on my skin after a while, which was probably due to the face washes I used before.Like others have mentioned, it seems a bit laborious to use at first as you have to get a right mix of water and paste and mix it in your palm before applying, but you get used to it and it just becomes the normal way.I 100% recommend this product and its really great value. They also do great soap, shampoo and deodorant which I love using too. Thank you PureChimp!

I love this cleanser. It's 100% natural and vegan - which is definitely what I've been searching for - and it leaves my skin soft and supple. And I LOVE the smell. I always make sure to cup my hands over my nose every time I wash my face and take a deep breath. It smells so yummy! It's like washing your face with a banana nut muffin. (If you don't enjoy that smell, though, I wouldn't recommend this product.) It took a few days to get used to it but I figured it out quickly. I put a dollop of it in my palm and a drop or two of water. I let it sit for a second or two and then start mashing it up with my finger. The only thing I wish I had was a breakdown of what each ingredient does, like the marigold petals and the sea buckthorn oil. Nevertheless, I'll definitely continue purchasing this product.

Arrivato in tempi record. Vasetto di vetro, che apprezzo. Profumo fantastico di banana. Prodotto meraviglioso. Già dopo il primo utilizzo ho trovato la mia pelle più morbida, pulita e la mattina al risveglio radiosa. Prodotto naturale senza ingredienti chimici. Bisogna prendere un pochino la mano per usarlo bene, ma basta poca quantità e una goccia d'acqua, sfregare tra le mani e applicare sul viso e strofinare. Piacevole la sensazione quasi di uno scrub super delicato. Non fa schiuma. Per me 10 e lode al produttore!

C'est la troisième fois que je rachète ce produit, ayant la peau sensible avec tendance aux rougeurs, et cherchant à éliminer les allergènes et perturbateurs endocriniens de ma routine de soin, j'ai testé ce nettoyant car il n'est composé que d’ingrédients naturels, se conserve longtemps et surtout laisse la peau propre sans tirailler !Il est également efficace pour démaquiller un maquillage léger (fond de teint-poudre-blush-mascara non waterproof). Le fait qu'il ne mousse pas peut surprendre, mais ce n'est pas la mousse qui lave !Je recommande à 100% .

Dieser Reiniger ist klasse! Er ist leicht peelend, aber supersanft und absolut für empfindliche und trockene Haut geeignet. Nach der Anwendung fühlt sich die Haut weich, gepflegt und genährt an.Eines muss ich aber vorweg sagen: Es ist kein Mittelchen mit dem man besonders viel oder dickes/ hartnäckiges Makeup abbekommt. Es ist also eher für Leute geeignet, die sowieso kein oder wenig Schminke tragen oder eben für Tage an denen man mal etwas dezenter als sonst angemalt ist ;-) Man kann natürlich auch erst das Gröbste an Makeup mit einem anderen Produkt entfernen und anschließend diesen Reiniger benutzen.Der Duft ist wie beim Super One Gesichtsöl - Bananenkaugummi. Eben nicht wirklich wie echte, reife Bananen, sondern irgendwie künstlich, obwohl nur natürlicher Bananenextrakt enthalten ist. Ich mag (über)reife Bananen nicht sonderlich gern, aber diesen Cleanser kann ich gut riechen ;-)Die Konsistenz ist pastös und weich, etwas bröckelig. Ich wende ihn folgendermaßen an: Ich gebe eine kleine Menge (ich würde sagen so zwischen Erbsen- und Kidneybohnengroß) in eine Handfläche und tröpfele mit einem Finger ein bis zwei Tropfen Wasser auf den Klecks. Dann verreibe ich das Ganze in meiner Hand und massiere damit anschließend mein Gesicht.Es gibt für mich nur einen Kritikpunkt an dem Produkt: Durch diese bröcklige Konsistenz verlaufen sich jedes Mal ein paar Krümelchen in meine Augen. Ja selbst wenn ich beim Reinigen einen großen Bogen um meine Augen mache, kriege ich trotzdem immer einen oder zwei Brösel hinein. Zum Glück brennt da nix und es ist auch nichts gefährliches oder seifiges enthalten, ich kann mir aber vorstellen, dass es bei empfindlichen Personen schommal zu Irritationen kommen könnte (vorausgesetzt man stellt sich ebenso geschickt an wie ich).Im Großen und Ganzen aber wirklich eine tolle Entdeckung und absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man nach einem sanften, natürlichen Produkt ohne schwachsinnige Zutaten sucht. Die Zutatenliste ist dermaßen einfach gehalten, dass es fast schon motiviert sich mal selbst an dem Rezept zu versuchen ;-)
