So pleased with my purchase. Been searching for something like this. I bought this grinder specifically to grind egg shells for homemade calcium supplement. The grinder works wonderfully so far and grinds the shells to a fine powder. Not sure about how long it will last but I anticipate the device holding up nicely as it is very well made. The grinder is very cute and easy to use and clean. I especially like that the removable stainless cup is so tall and is not a mix of plastic. One review stated that the lid was difficult to remove but I found the lid and the stainless cup easily removable. Can’t wait to try some of the recipes. Going to order another one to replace my coffee grinder. Probably don’t need 2 but I want to keep the one for calcium supplement just for that purpose. I also liked that I received an email with customer service information. Great buy.

The only "negative" is the capacity. But I bought this product specifically for grinding dry spices, and it certainly holds as much as the old coffee grinders do. This product will perfectly grind as little as 1tsp, very fine or coarse. The cap keeps all that you're grinding inside the grinder thus eliminating waste, and mess - eliminate mess and you eliminate potential damage to the motor because you could never be tempted to use moisture near the motor connection point. The way the two piece blade works seems to create a vortex which makes it very efficient at grinding wet spices (e.g., ginger, garlic, reconstituted chilis, etc.), but there is a max line which I estimate to be a little over 2 oz. The outer lid, which you push to activate grinder, must first be locked in place so there are no accidents. It's also attractive enough to leave on the counter should you need/want to do so. It comes with a combo brush/scoop.

First, I'm happy I received a "new" product, I've received a few items lately that were clearly used and returned. This was well packaged and looked brand new.It is also heavier that I thought it would be, which is a good thing, from the photos, it looks like a lighter plastic product, but it has a good weight to it, so better quality than I expected and has no funky plastic smell.It works very well grinding coffee beans, which is what I mainly purchased it for. It looks like nice even grounds. It also comes with a little book on how to make and blend other things, like chili powder, pepper salt powder and a few others.As far as noise level, not exactly quiet, but not any louder than your normal coffee grinder. I like that the inner cup is removable and you can bring it to your coffee machine and scoop the grounds into your coffeemaker right from the cup, my old one didn't have this feature, it was one solid piece. It seems pretty easy to clean.So I would probably purchase another one, pretty happy with overall performance and happy that it was more solid than it looks in photos.

Works well so far? I’m rating this a 4+ because I don’t know how durable in the long term? Looks are very attractive and modern and can leave out on kitchen counter. I’m using to grind dried citrus peels which can be difficult. Easy to clean and the six blades do a good job grinding with just a 3 or 4 short bursts of power. No mess! The cap that covers the metal grinding container is a tight press fit and no residue escapes the container. What I really like is that it has 4 nylon tabs that start the grinder when depressed. Other grinders I looked at and have owned only have one small plastic tab to depress for power that could easily break or wear out. I found it easy to clean by adding water with a drop of dish detergent to the metal container an giving it a couple quick power bursts and instantly cleaned. I just rinse the container and put it on the drying rack next to the sink. From an engineering perspective and convenience using, I recommend! Longevity is always my concern but looks well made compared to other grinders at the same price point! 👍

The media could not be loaded. I was hesitant to order this because of some of the negative reviews regarding capacity, but I’m glad I did as it is perfect for my needs. We generally only drink two mugs of strong coffee in the morning and the max line in the grinder cup holds the exact amount of beans I need for the 22oz of water I use (see video). I’m also happy with the way the grinder works. It grinds my beans to a perfect drip grind in two 5-second spurts, making the bottom of the grinder cup only slightly warm. Others have complained that they felt the motor was burning out after 30 seconds of grinding, but you would never need to grind this small amount of beans for anywhere near that amount of time. Even the grind I did to make espresso was only 12-15 seconds, so I do not understand those comments. The grinder cup fits effortlessly into the base and slightly twists to lock in place. I’ve had two other grinders of this style that hurt my hands trying to engage the lock, one of them didn’t even release the cup once it was locked, that’s how tight the fit was. So that’s partly why I like this one so much, past experience. The blade is also a more complex design than my other grinders and maybe that’s why it grinds so consistently well. I just hope it holds up over time; I’ll update here if there is a problem.

I love this grinder, its cute & functional. I love that the metal grinder cup comes out so you can easily clean it and pour it easily into your coffee machine or cold brew maker. Its not super loud it just sounds like a normal grinder to me and it only takes like 5-10 seconds and you're done. It works great for me it may not be great for someone making tons of coffee all day but for me and making my cold brew every other day it does the trick!
