Perfect dashcam for everyday use!
I've been using this dashcam for over 2 years. It's incredibly easy to install and stable to use. The video quality is outstanding, and also emergency video can be recorded when there is violent shaking. The only problem I ran into is it keeps complaining my SD card is damaged. But the issue was addressed after upgrading firmware. BTW, updating firmware is super easy over a phone.Overall, this dashcam has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for reliable, high-quality recording.

Tiny and Powerful
I've been thoroughly enjoying the 70mai dashcam. It's incredibly easy to use and its compact design means it doesn't add any bulk to my dashboard. The video quality is outstanding, providing clear and detailed footage that gives me confidence on the road. Overall, this dashcam has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for reliable, high-quality recording. When I first got it installed it took me a few tries to figure out how to connect to it but it is really simple once you figure it out.

Very impressive showing from 70mai
This is my first time using a 70mai dashcam and this is my new favorite.Pros:+ Good price for a dual channel camera+ Supports HEVC (H.265) encoding for smaller file sizes without losing quality+ ADAS features actually work - although I only find the front vehicle departure alert to be practical and usable.+ Quick Wifi connection via BLE and ability to turn on Wifi automatically+ Timeline view makes it much easier to find and seek the video in the app+ OTA updates for firmware+ Compact and discreet, yet a very usable IPS screenCons:- No supercapacitor (but battery seems to be easy to replace)- No 5Ghz wifi means downloading videos is very slow- Rear camera performance at night is pretty bad

Good camera, tiny screen
Easy to install. Works well. Very intuitive to use from the camera's own controls or from your phone. The screen is too small to use as a parking aid. If you plan to use it this way, I recommend a larger screen, one that attaches to the rearview mirror.

Great dash cam!!!
Purchased the 70mai Dash Cam A510, and it was a great investment. It was easy to install and super easy to setup. In the box you can expect everything you need to get started. You get the main cam with a LCD screen, it’s dual recording so you get a second camera for the rear, all the cables to connect everything and a 64GB microSD memory card.My favorite part is the app. Navigating was easy. Connecting the cam and the app was easy. Downloading video to my phone was easy and fast. The video, 2.5K in the front and 1080p for the rear, looks great. Day time recording looked great with superb color and fine details. Night time was also good but overall not as great as day, but that is to be expected.Overall, this was a great deal for the price and you can definitely not go wrong with picking this up.

1440p video at 4:3 ratio but over compressed so video quality is lacking
At $65 (the current price not the $87 I paid) the 70mai A500s is an OK value. I have lots of experience with dashcams and currently use 4 others. I already had a Samsung 128GB card, so I didn't have to purchase one. I purchased this for a pickup truck and liked having the front and rear together in one package. The 4:3 was a bit odd but, for the truck, the back camera gives full view of the bed and the road, so that was nice. For just a front camera 16:9 ratio is better. The main problem I have with this camera is that the video is over compressed so that everything seems pixelated. You will never read a license plate number with this unless is it directly in front of you while stopped. You can barely make out road lines with all the over compression. And if you are thinking of getting a Viofo, they have quality issues with the camera the cause a double image that makes it look out of focus (I believe this is due to lens issues and not the electronics). Just FYI.[UPDATE] The documentation is lacking in configuration info. If you select a Video Storage of Low Compression Ratio you are limited to a resolution of 1920x1440 (1440p) to limit the file size (according to the manufacturer) which is still a good resolution for a dashcam. If you select High Compression ratio, you have a choice of 3 resolutions with 2592x1944 being the highest. At 2592x1944, the video gets a bit choppy and the files are larger than Low Compression at 1440p. I would need to do more testing, but the quality of the higher resolution with more compression seems to be about the same as the low compression at 1440p. High compression at 1440p may yield smoother video with reduced motion blur but I haven't tested that yet. In every situation and resolution I have tried, you cannot read a moving license plate, which is true of most 30fps dashcams. I even tried jogging in front of the vehicle holding a license plate and, while moving, the motion blur makes it unreadable. A higher FPS (60 vs the 30 of this camera) would probably help with that but will also make the files much larger.
