Hercules BS050B Music Stand with Folding Desk

I purchased this music stand for my weekly practice with the Edinburgh branch of the SRP (Society of Recorder Players). It's quite firm, the extendable arms are very useful when playing extensive pieces of music, it comes with a carrying bag, and the price was good.

It's alright. The stand is sturdy enough but must be stretched to its limit to stand up and play. I'm 5 feet 8 inches and play the trombone and it's just the right height. If you're taller won't suit you. The plastic screws i hate because they tend to have to be really tight to hold the stand up. It's USP though is that it folds up really small. Overall it's okay but i wouldn't describe it as herculean.

Brilliant stand at a really good price. I've bought several stands cheaper and paid the price (excuse the pun). Stand seems very strong all the nuts lock as expected and hold. And the stand really looks the part, too. I couldn't recommend this product more.

Originally wanted an orchestra stand for my daughter but decided on this stand coz its less than half the price, light enough for her to carry round, but substantial enough not to blow away in a light wind. Not the cheapest, but feels sturdy and good quality.

This stand is awesome. I used to have a stand that took me 5 mins to open each time and was flimsy. This one opens easily, is very sturdy. I have a few other Hercules items, so like the brand and the colouring. The feet are stable, too.It comes with a nice carry bag with a strap.I was using it lastnight to practice my flute outdoors.

Arrived yesterday with x3 faults on it; each one would cause it to completely break within weeks.

This feels sturdy enough while nice and light for carting to orchestra practice. It holds three pages across simultaneously, which is the reason I chose this stand.
