Are there any sharp edges in the metal storage containers? How is the bearing capacity?

It's very stable and doesn't wobble, wheels design make it easy to move, and I checked all the sides, there is no sharp edges, well-made product!

Pretty sturdy, it holds 6-7 pairs of kids shoes or 5 pairs of mens shoes.

4 5/8" with the top cap in...4 1/2" if you remove the top cap. Wheels are 1 1/2" by themselves. I'm going to add photos to my review so you can see the cap I'm speaking of... i was able to keep the wheels on all 3 units but I needed to remove the top caps on 2 of the units to fit it under my double dresser which is apparently a smidge shorter than the single.
