I'm usually the type of buyer that tries to find a silver lining in any purchase that might be questionable. The only lining I can find is that it does charge, BUT every time mine charges 1% it disconnects then reconnects. It is charging the phone, but not without that minor inconvenience. Very annoying to hear the connecting tone/vibration on my phone every few minutes. Also, I like to use my Waze app through my navigation screen in my vehicle...can't do that. While it is plugged in and syncing, the navigation screen stops and sends me a "searching for phone" message every time it disconnects/reconnects. Since that happens with every 1% of charge, it is unusable. I can't see myself sticking with this phone charger case. As I am typing this, I have felt my phone vibrate 6 different times with disconnect/reconnect. I will be returning. Hope I'm in the small percent of people that its not working for.

This is a great case. It is also a great battery. This battery case has a nice soft, grippy rubbery feel all around. It has precise cutouts with a toggle switch for the volume bottom. It is a 2 piece case with a bumper that goes around the edges of the iPhone. The backing case is flat with the lightning connector on the bottom. On the back is the power button. Simply push it to start charging your iPhone. There are also 4 indicator lights that tell u how much battery is left. This case is slimmer in price and physically. Some of the other models had a bump in the back which was the battery encased. Price wise, this costs much less than the other battery cases out there. Great quality and seems it will last for a while.

The Maxboost battery backup case fits my iPhone 8 Plus perfectly and provides all around protection thanks to its slim two-piece design that protects against scratches, bumps or drops. I really like the feel of cases rubberized body to improve the grip to help offset the added weight. I’m impressed with the built in 4000 mah battery which provided a full recharge when my iPhone was less than 10 percent. The only thing I had a hard time deciding to give 5 stars was the micro usb input as I couldn’t use my Apple lighting headphones or to charge it with my Qi wireless inductive charger. Overall I am happy with this case and I don’t have to carry an additional battery backup.

This is a nice case developed by Maxboost. I do not own an iPhone 8Plus so I will only be reviewing based on quality, durability and design.The design is nice. It feels premium. the cutouts are nice and firm. The finish is nice as well, matching with a Black iPhone 8Plus. This case has speaker cutouts that project towards you and not to the bottom.I tried fitting my iphone 6 into the charger to see if it would charge and it did work, It does charge your phone.Nice LED lighting at the rear to let you know how much it is charged and how much capacity it has at any moment.Overall, I like this case. All I need is an iPhone 8Plus to fully use the case. Maxboost send me one! Haha!

This is the best battery case i have had yet. Its is very slim and doesnt bulk up your phone. The battery holds charge well and can fully charge your phone. It has four lights on tha back for case battery level indication. The case itself is made of hard plastic with soft to touch coating that feels like some rubber. The sides of the case have bumpers to protect the phone. All holes line up very well with phone's buttons and camera. Overall, I think its a very stylish case, extremely slim for a battery case, and very practical.

This case is brilliant. It’s 1000000x better than the Apple battery cases because it lasts longer and has an on/off switch AND it’s much more protective. Also - it’s lighter than the Apple battery cases by far. Genius. Highly recommend. I only wish it came with a longer USB to charge case and phone without removing case, as a regular USB cord doesn’t fit through the case. But the pros FAR outweigh this one con.

Doesn't hold it's charger super well and it a bit heavy. It would've been nice if it completely covered the back as I don't see why they couldn't have completely sealed the back and leave only the camera exposed. Also a bit on the pricier side of things. Maxboost makes great quality products but it's always nice to have a warranty though.
