Love having this on hand and ready when I want to hang a picture! I'm a little on the OCD-side so if a picture isn't perfectly straight it will drive me crazy! This is a great tool/set to have so I won't have the problem any more!

I'm the type of person who, no matter how hard I try, manages to always mess something up in any DIY project, big or small. Even something as simple as hanging up a picture (I use picture frames to cover up the multiple holes from the attempts to hang the said picture frame). I am grateful that the dot marker, while something seemingly so simple, makes the process just a little bit easier. I've used other similar products. However, they were single-use where they stayed in the wall. So, I like how you can continue to use this for multiple projects.Note: I haven't tried wiping away the ink since I nailed over it, but it does come with an eraser labeled specifically to erase the ink, in case that was a concern.

Works as advertised, I wish they were a little shorter as this would make placement easier. Otherwise very useful.

I hated hanging pictures that have two hooks on each side of the piece. THIS has changed everything. It’s super simple to use. Comes with a level, measuring tape and is adjustable depending what you are hanging. I will be buying this for family and friends!

This is a great concept, but in reality it hasn’t worked out very well. For anything long or heavy it takes two people to use it and even with that it was impossible to hold it level and mark both sides without slipping. Even for smaller, lighter items it can be awkward. The posts do not sit straight in many of the mounts I tried to use it with. That is primarily the fault of the way the mounts were installed, not the tool, but because so many mounts come installed askew it was a recurring problem that the tool could not adjust for. We moved into a new home and had numerous items to hang so I thought it would get lots of use, but I think it worked as intended once out of a dozen possible. I used it to mark only one side for a couple pieces, which made it somewhat useful, but it was mostly disappointing.

Finally I can get things mounted without the frustration of mis space mounts or janky positioning. Mounted several power strips in my computer lab perfectly. Simply attach this to both mount holes, position the strip how/where you want and press it hard to the location to make small marks. Remove and add your screws, then mount. Done. Perfect. This kit has several other tools to handily assist with the project. They just add to the ease of mounting stuff.

The pieces are quite large which in some instances would be fine, but it does make the process a bit bulky to work with. To add, the peg/pin that marks the spot is so recessed that it barely makes an imprint. They do give you an additional tool to better mark the spot which works great.Given how bulky the pieces are, I found it difficult to align two pictures side by side without still needing an extra tool to identify where to put the nails.

Good quality and well thought out tool for hanging picture and other item to be hung with precision.
