Great sealant. Used it for painting shoes with acrylic paint and put this after to seal. Used 4 coats

Does work to stop leather peeling.
I have a leather sofa that has a few spots where it is peeling,I bought it to paint over this to stop it peeling.Unfortunatly I bought the gloss finish but it was too shiny and I needed the matte,so I have reordered the matte.

Expensive for what it is.
This is an expensive product. I'm not entirely sure it was necessary to purchase this little bottle of Acrylic Finisher as it feels a lot like watered down PVA glue, which does exactly the same job. I bought it because it claims to be a specialist item. I've never painted on leather or shoes for that matter, but my daughter asked if I could customise a pair of trainers for her birthday and as a one off project, I thought I should ensure that the paint was properly protected. I used regular artists acrylics and watered the paint down with a combination of PVA glue and water. The finisher did the job. It isn't particularly glossy, just the same as watered down pva, as I said earlier.

smudges the paint slightly even though the paint is dry. seals nicely but not worth the price considering the smudging.
